Cancelled my old Funimation account i forgot i had until today, anyone has a tl;dr of what has happened since the OP creation since i don't really want to read all 271 pages to catch up

Trying to put this mess in bullet points might be difficult. Just like new fans to One Piece, I wish you the best as this story continues. Luckily, this thread has not reached 900 chapters. Good luck!

Nick got out of SJW jail again...

That explains it. My mistake. I admittedly skimmed that ANN article at best since it read like a trashy tabloid, though I kind of recall it now. The holocaust one is the one I hear peddled by the kickvic side the most, but I agree with Captain Manning in that this still sounds like horseshit. The rumor that Vic threw a sharpie at a fan is still going around, despite him dispelling it at a convention years ago. Like 8 years ago. It’s in that video about his views on yaoi that was posted a while back. Once a rumor is out, these people refuse to let them die.

When do you guys think Jamie Marchi's going to get her letter? She lives in Dallas and her last tweet is 4 hours ago.

If Ron got his, she almost certainly got hers.

Understand the letter wouldn't compel them to stop all Twitter communication. It would just put them on notice that they committed an act of defamation, demand thye retract such defamation (and refrain from future defamation), preserve all evidence in their custody, and put them formally on notice that a lawsuit is pretty much imminent.

Are these people so pathetic they need life coaching on how to cope with the fact that they have friends who don't agree with them slavishly about every dumb Internet controversy?

Yes. Yes they are. They have no anchor no real identity or moral compass beyond vapid, pointless pop culture references and buzzwords they read on an online article.

Everything is about whatever tiny crumbs of this they can scrape together which is why they wind up in hivemind like cults like SJWism that results in people unironically using "She's white and Christian, so she's on the top of the pile." despite no reference to her socio-economic status.

That's really what shocks me, theres so many people I run into these days, that when you try to talk to them about current events, are virtually reading back all the articles they read to you as their arguments As if they had read it from a University textbook. There doesn't seem to be any critical thinking or reflection going on upstairs at all. If you contradict them, the first point of contention is that your sources are bad, and theirs are 100% rock solid.

Caitlin Glass is Christian. Those faith services Vic does at cons started because he and Caitlin were singing church songs one Sunday morning at a convention and a bunch of fans gathered to listen, so he decided to make it an actual thing.

Pretty sure Quinton Flynn is Christian too.
So is Marc Thompson (Duke Devlin in Yu-Gi-Oh!). He’s a pastor for the International Churches of Christ New York Chapter in his spare time.

I've got a question: is anybody archiving Vic Mignogna' streams on Unlocked?

Funny you compare this thread to One Piece, as chapter 272 deals with Enel confronting Robin in the ruins of Shandora as she reveals to him the existence of the bell. Meanwhile, episode 272 is when Luffy faces Blueno at Enies Lobby and first reveals Gear Second. So which of the two arcs would you place us currently in the Vic situation? :story:

Oh yeah, that reminds me, does this mean Funimation put their dub of "Episode of Sabo" on hold, or was that one of the last projects Vic recorded?
