It sounds like horseshit with no corroboration. I think the holocaust line does have some corroboration (since it was said in front of a crowd), but the point is they're really reaching.

EDIT: NONE of these fucking stories that ANN is reprinting have NAMES.

Color me suspicious of any such story. It’s rather grossly out of place for any modern mainstream Christian denomination. Or practitioner Who largely get along with Jews. Or at a minimum tend to be more curious, and not dickwads. At least anybody outside the WBC. Given what Vic does at Cons I would expect him to be more full of questions for a Jewish fan who watched one of his Sunday School bits. Now Mormons or Catholics? Yeah the Southern Christians can get weird at times depending how they were raised. But the Jews generally fall in a weird place of curiosity.

And, if anything, the "we can change that" account sounds like a joke. Reminds me of a scene in Independence Day where a rabbi leads people in prayer, and one of the guys says "But I'm not Jewish," to which the rabbit replies "Don't worry, no one's perfect." It's a joke. Jesus.

Nah, it's more like we have given people a socio-economic incentive to (pretend to) be offended, so that they can intentionally remove your intent from your statements to be upset at them, even in retrospect, for social currency.

That, and the Jewish kid was probably autistic.
 
Watched last night's stream, and it was just really fascinating, albeit disheartening, to hear that Vic has loved (probably still loves) his coworkers but they hated his guts for years just because he's a Christian. And when this all came to a boiling point, he's been distraught for the past month-and-a-half in spite of all the love and support he's been getting. He sees everything that's come out, all the vitriol, and that just cuts deep. It's kind of ironic that the man who has played such an OP monster in the Dragon Ball universe is just like a meek little puppy in real life, and people just can't stand that for whatever reason, or felt he wasn't being "Christian enough" for having commitment/relationship issues like that makes him a hypocrite. They just really enjoy kicking the puppy for being a flawed human being--who the hell knows why he's had commitment issues, but that's not important in the grand scheme of things especially since he's long since acknowledged it.

Just forget Top Ten Anime Betrayals, this is Top Ten "Et Tu, Brute?" Moments, like holy shit.

They attempt attacks on Nick through this route when he is quite open and honest about doing this for viewers and money (Capitalism is bad Comrade). YF and HH probably don't have enough content to carry their viewers through the lulls of information in the Vic saga, Nick on the other hand can always find more stupid Lolsuits or interesting cases to talk about.

They are probably talking about a spoiler. Highlight whatever you want then click the "..." button (next to the smiley face) at the top of the response box and select a spoiler option. Spoiler creates a button and can be used for pics and text, while the inline spoiler pixelate censors text and I'm not sure if it works with pics e.g.

The OP is fairly up to date. I'll add that it's likely that many of the targets of Vic's lawsuit have received initial paperwork right now which basically reads "we insist you retract your statements." From what I understand, this doesn't mean they're "officially" being sued yet, but if they do not do a retraction, the potential penalties will be worse if any of these cases go to trial.

Virtually all of these people are failures at commerce. In ANN's case, they individually had to come together like an autistic Voltron in order to share in the tiniest amount of success.

Oh totally. We have lolcows on here who will get tons of Asks from people going “My friend/family/SO doesn’t agree with me on (random woke topic/insignificant thing/ect), how should I convince them they’re ignorant/cut them out of my life?”
