I think it's even simpler than that:

Obsession with Politics is literally a form of escapism. Hence why people obsessed with politics tend to be angry, resentful husks of people.

This seems to be true towards slacktivists who wouldn't go out there to get directly involved with trying to improve the system. The political world would seem completely different from the mundane world and it gives them the illusion of making a difference just by typing a few things in front of the screen.
 
The more I read about Waid, the more I'm blown away by the fact that this sperg is the same dude that wrote "Kingdom Come".

Now he's just another leftist douche who's about to get what he deserves, especially after listening to Waid's disposition on Nick Rekieta's stream last night. Seems like he not only hung himself, but he tightened the rope, too. Can't wait to see how this all unfolds.

Every time EVS says Ben, he means Joeming (owner of AP and Ben's brother). Rackets pointed out that Mark Waid who 'knows the owner of AP and that he's a good guy' is calling the man by his brothers name and continues to do so after being corrected (It's also confirmed in the brothers deposition that Waid was talking to Joeming). I guess all Asians are just the same to Waid, who cares about calling them by the correct name, after all they all look alike.

Figures. Ben Dunn is largely the public face of AP, I'm not shocked that Waid actually has nothing more than a passing familiarity with the company, despite being so proud of being a comics professional. He's now playing the suckup desperately hoping AP will come to his defense (as if that would actually help him here) but can't even do that right... people like Waid always fail when they try to emulate basic human kindness and decency because those are completely foreign concepts to them, it's like a Nigerian trying to speak Japanese after watching a couple of episodes of subbed hentai.

I just watched that myself. First time watching Rekieta. Very entertaining, and I've got a new favorite.

Also, Waid is so viciously fucked, it's not even funny. Jesus christ, he just kept digging and digging. His lawyer must have been facepalming throughout the whole deposition. And those fucking texts ... what an absolute moron.

This is a great illustration of how SJW's screw themselves. They get so self-righteous and cocky that they convince themselves they're invincible. Then they do stupid shit like this, making no effort to hide their real identities or figure out whether what they're doing is even legal in the first place. It's so delicious when they act stunned when they're hit with litigation like this. Even better watching them sink themselves like Waid is doing.
 
After seeing Waid's deposition on the Rekieta video, I think that Waid will be lucky if he avoids the death penalty.

Yes, I know it's a civil trial. He's just doing that bad a job.

Given the number of skeletons in the closet these people have, combined with his inability to keep his mouth shut, I wouldn't be surprised if he did end up admitting to having someone permanently silenced.
