Nope. She wouldn't care and if she did, it wouldn't stop Chris, unless she went full 'Trip to Ohio' lockout. Catherine or Renee might be able to stop him, but I don't know if the person(s) behind Catherine are still involved, and I don't think Thetan wants to wade back in. Maybe Kim or Anna at an outside chance, but I doubt he'd listen to them.
 
I just realised Chris is risking getting sepsis literally right after his mother took a loan out from his life insurance.

Ever since this all started I still cannot believe that Chris came up with this idea all on his own, with no outside influence. Really, this sounds like the kind of thing a troll would coerce him into doing, back during the Golden Age.

It's probably just gold plated at best, but yeah Chris spending more than he can afford is nothing new, so it wouldn't surprise me.

I dunno, Chris always does things assbackwards. So I can see him thinking step one in becoming a lesbian is getting his taint pierced.

Seriously, he doesn't start developing his female identity, he doesn't spend time getting to know the community, he doesn't even show much solidarity with them...he gets a ridiculous stereotypical "lesbian" piercing. Wow

He never fucking learns. He NEVER fucking learns! As if his sad, twisted story wasn't already right out of some psychological horror, he goes and does this shit AGAIN. He's becoming a genuine danger to himself.
