I think we just somehow don't exist in his mental universe. (Okay, his mental Rhode Island. Whatever.) He keeps doing this thing where he talks about this being a thread full of gay men who all get simultaneously aroused every time he types something. Because gay men love them some ampersand. But I don't think the idea of gay men as people, as anything but the Thing Not to Be (and apparently you can become a bad person by walking into the wrong bathroom by accident), penetrates &/or enters &/or is actually a living concept in his magnificent brain.

So actually, Teej is addressing a thread full of straight &/or cis males who would be horribly insulted at the idea of themselves loving up other males. He has no concept of gay men &/or any type of women who actually do things (like participate in forum threads). We may theoretically exist somewhere on the planet, but not here. It's like his mind is permanently stuck in an all-boy elementary school, and his concept of audience is gay and unrealistic.
