How much do you wanna bet this is the Democrats' plan? Seriously, this is why Pelosi and Schumer refuse every offer from Trump before he even lays out the details. They want the EBT system to go down. Some will be mad on their own but the DNC will use whatever community organizers they have to rile up the hood. They'll get blacks rioting, burning stuff, maybe even start attacking white people (it's ok they're all rayciss drumpf supporters anyway).

In the middle of all this, some dindu will charge riot police or do something else stupid and get killed. Regardless of any evidence the media and the dems will give it the typical "he wuz a gud boi he finna gohda college" narrative and use it to further embolden and inflame the rioting and attacks. And they'll blame it all on white people and Donald Trump.

Black might start attacking white people but they might also encounter Latinos/Hispanics where some group are also dependent on EBT and we might have a fight about who'll grab the bigger part of the cake between them.

If it is their plan i can see it biting them in the arse so hard. Trump will be able to stand on a pulpit and blame the Democrats all day, pointing out that he is in D.C and offered similar terms that Pelosi idiotically tweeted before one of his latest speeches. It may even get to a point where Trump can negotiate from strength due to people begging the government to be open and alter the deal. They rejected a favourable deal an if they get desperate then they will have to take an unfavourable deal, i.e. 1/2 to full wall funding.

Note Trump has been uncharacteristically diplomatic when dealing with them publicly. No "Stupid" or "Morons" or the usually lcd insults he likes to use. He's also been very open about what he's offering in exchange for the wall, and preemptively got on TV to spell out to the nation why it is important. He is making it clear the ball is in the democrat's court and they are so consumed with TDS they won't give him one tenth of one percent of the budget to secure the wall. And he's being, especially for Trump, very polite about it.

Which isn't to say he isn't backchannel provoking them endlessly, and then waving a red cape. Not simply canceling their European vacation at the 11th hour (which was solid fucking gold), but also straight up DARING them to approve the deal he was sending to them by saying they couldn't accept it because they're held hostage by the radical elements of their party (which isn't exactly wrong). But he's making sure to do it directly to them, using "private" means, and not publically insulting them.

The Dems seriously just need to take the 2020 loss and start thinking about 2024.
 
The Democrats need to stop pandering to the radical side of their party because that will be their downfall.

So they should keep doing what they're doing, because they deserve to lose forever.

Agreed. I think we are seeing Trump in all his glory right now. He's actually really good at this shit, and it's a pleasure to watch. Pelosi and Schumer have a tiger by the tail and don't know how to let go.

I don't know that we can say that for certain. Pandering has been working for them pretty well - remember, look at what changes you're seeing Dems push. No bank reform or regulations. They are advocating a nebulous "Higher income tax" on people making $250,000 or more a year - AKA people who either won't even notice, or who would be able to hire accounts to reduce their taxable income.
Much like the media never saw Trump coming because they didn't get the game (and most still don't), you need to realize the Democrats aren't playing a game of "Stable productive america" they are playing a game where there are the leaders, have plenty of other people's money to spend on things that make them feel good, and they rule a population unable or unwilling to remove them from power. They don't care if America remains a global super power, or if people have money for things other than their taxes, so long as they are the rulers.

Trump might be getting the "Middle Ground" Dem voters to realize the pot is starting to boil with these moves.
He's trying to show the Democrats are completely useless & spineless, prevented from working to a greater good or even their own stated goals. The narrative he wants in everyone's mind for 2020 is "You might not like me, sure. But look what happens when you elect screeching mystery meat like AOC - they just screech and screech, throw tantrums and nothing gets done. Remember Obama? Do you want more of that? Or do you like having a thriving economy, jobs and money?"
Which wouldn't be too terribly effective in 2020 if the Dems ran moderate candidates, but I think after 2018 they're going to double down for 2020.
 
I'd ask this here but why is a "President Michelle Obama" a common feature in the ideal worlds described by those with TDS? Is she the only other name they can think of? Are dynasties and monarchic rule a more popular concept than I imagine that people would gladly accept "King Obama the First of America"? My gut feeling is it's just a familiar name gives them a sense of stability and/or just weird fetishization of our previous president.
