The term "TERF" has become like "neo-nazi" or "SJW"; certain people use these terms for anyone they disagree with, but that doesn't mean that real SJWs, real neo-nazis, and real TERFs (1) don't exist, and (2) aren't completely bugshit insane.

(But stuff like the Martina Navratilova post above sounds like she's """a TERF""" rather than real TERFism to me)

I agree, but the understanding of what TERFism actually is has definitely evolved in the years since this thread was started. As it is a term invented (as far as I can tell) and used mostly by TRAs, it is now used as an attack on anyone who is even mildly questioning of trans activism, not just radfems.

Also, the reaction to Navratilova's tweet has been muted. Quite possibly the troons realise that for years she was the walking talking manifestation of lesbianism for alot of people, and reeeing at her will peak trans undecided straights.

Yeah, there's a lot more to the RF part of TERF than disliking trannies. Cathy Brennan is the real deal, but most so-called 'terfs' are not.

Still, the response in that thread has been rather positive so far. There are some users complaining about the site being full of meanies and doxxers, but most of the people there seem to hold the opinion that "KF might be assholes, but at least they have good information and don't tolerate people like Yaniv"
 
Most of the resistance to radical feminism here just stems from people being ignorant of what it actually means. Even putting aside the transgender stuff the average kiwi farms user will likely end up agreeing with more radical feminism tenets than they don't. Part of the problem is shrieking dangerhairs and souless corporations dictating the public consciousness of what we think feminism means, but if I'm being totally fair radical feminists are partially to blame because they're generally abysmal at presenting their viewpoints. They gave up on ever being accepted or politically correct way back in the 1970's, and as a result to the uninitiated a lot of their terminology sounds combative, conspiratorial and anti-male when it's really not.
