I first heard about him some time back, he definitely is a good reference to use on how to be a respectable content creator, he has calm voice and is informative and enjoyable to watch as his videos have minimal jumpcuts and he doesn't has thumbnails of douchefaggy shit like everyone else does he just plays it to the bone and lets his material do the like comment and subscribe for him. Also here's my favorite video of his, damn that fruit soup looks tasty:

Oh God this dude.
There's one MRE that he reviewed that I've wanted to try for ages. It's a Norwegian reindeer stew and it looks absolutely delicious when made. Sadly, I can't seem to find it being sold anywhere... :(

Someone compared him to Bob Ross, and I gotta say, it's not too far off. He's got that same relaxed-but-happy tone that ol' Bob had when he was painting.

Yea. I've been watching some of his older videos and they def aren't quite as relaxing or well put together as his newer (like post 2016) ones. He does some stuff now that really adds character to the vids like his catchphrases, the audible hisses of the packets, the crinkle of the wrappers and the clinks his spoon makes as he stirs (sometimes speeding up the video) his ready-made drinks: it's a symphony of sound and adds so much.

Mm. That cold weather ration looks fantastic. The civvy version of it's entree is my favorite dehydrated breakfast (and sometimes dinner) to pack for hunting trips. The other stuff they throw in all seems like it would be a solid addition.

The reviews he did on the Korean MRE have me intrigued. Gonna order a couple off Amazon. Seems like good backpacking food, nice and warm and spicy.

I stumbled upon this guy's videos when I curious about MREs a while back, and I regret NOTHING!

His videos are fun to watch whenever I'm bored.

The recent survival kit review where Steve test-fires the flare-projector made me think he should do a video with Ian and Karl of Forgotten Weapons/InRange TV fame. Sometimes Ian and Karl also taste-test military surplus type foods, like that Schokakola assault ration stuff.

Forgotten Weapons/InRange are also awesome. I enjoyed the week-long series Ian did on InRange where he stuck to the British WWII civilian rationing diet.

I want Ian and Steve to do something ration-related together. Shame they practically live on opposite sides of the country :(

This is neat and not quite an MRE.

This kit has a flare gun. Some Coast Guard dude takes him to task for firing it off in the comments, so don't fire these things off anywhere near water. Coast Guard has to respond to them as if they were actual emergencies.

It also has dexies in it.
