Yeah, gator's mostly in the background handling the technical aspects (like the bot that handles callers using google hangouts like Jim) and playing sound clips. He doesn't even talk all that much, so I'm not sure what the gripe is with him. In the last stream the only thing I can remember about him saying was a tale about his puerto rican ex.

I'll add to this. The dynamic of the show works because Ralph is the star, Zidan is aggressive as fuck and Gator knows all the technical stuff. It'd be weird to replace anyone

The killstream chat is borderline cancer, and Ralph would be pretty dumb to give it any serious sway over his actions in running the show. I'm not exactly sure what kind of "weakness" you're talking about, the Killstream seems to be doing fine at the moment.
I will grant you that of the three, Gator is by far the least interesting on his own. (I will occasionally catch Zidan's post mortem streams when I don't have to be up super early the next day, but got bored the one time I tried to watch gator on his own.)

Personally I think that's a bigger issue, so much of youtube's streaming community is gayer than an Elton John DJed bareback party, so boring as to be a detriment, or so crazy you'll give yourself ulcers trying to keep up a consistent product with them on board.

And as Dick made clear, he found the 5 days a week minimum 3 hours a day streaming schedule to be a bit much which further whittles down the potential pool of replacements.

Even if he wanted to replace them, I'm not sure you could actually find replacement level cohosts to do so.

On the other hand having Zidane grill people and Gator produce/do the tech stuff/play clips isn't a bad mix. I think if Ralph replaced Zidane or Gator with someone with an ego like Dick Masterson it could all meltdown like Andy's show where Andy fell out with JF or the Kumite where Tonka managed to fall out with everyone.

To be fair, it's a tougher job than you'd think, and Gator is on point at it. (That particular night, I would imagine he was busy clipping all of the stupid shit Matt was saying live, just in the very likely case that stream got pulled midway and it was lost forever.) That night is a bad example anyway though, he really didn't *need* to say much. Jim and Zidan were both champing at the bit to take on Matt, and Ralph was pretty heated too as I recall.

That definitely is a possibility. (Even though, ego notwithstanding, Dick has a more of a history of being the one melted down on, not the one melting down.)

Theoretically speaking, he could have a rotating cast like some shows do. Have Dick commit to 2-3 days a week, and maybe save one day a week for a "wildcard" guest host, mix and match Gator and Zidan as it makes sense.
(I don't at all think he "needs" to do this btw, Killstream seems like it's doing just fine the way it currently is, that's just me thinking.)

I worry that if they don't put some restraints on the community it's going to implode on itself like Warski did. And I've come to really enjoy the evening shows so it'd be a shame to see it fall because of rabid autists.

Let the 'community' do what it will. The discord is different to the chat is different to the commentators here is different to the other 20 types of people that watch. As long as Ralph and co keep putting out a decent product things will be fine. I feel like people forget they can just ignore the fucktards if they want to. I'm sure 90% of the guests Ralph has on do that and don't let it bother them. The fact that Ralph purposefully and publicly keeps an arms length of distance between himself and any dramas in the discord etc serves him very well.
