Here’s a news story about a man being set on fire. It was posted on September 17, 2018.

It doesn’t name him as the victim, but it occurred in his area, and would be consistent with the time of his death, two days later. This isn’t definitive proof of anything, but there’s more than simple hearsay to back up the narrative.
