John will cocoon himself and emerge in 4 years time a full fledged mothman. He will spend the remainder of his life a legend in the 8th, spotted only in mist and shadow.
 
as a side note, kind of bummed, we couldn't reach 2k pages of this particular wu thread with the election reaching a close but ah well, this was a fun ride while it lasted and I can't wait to see what zany adventures the wu crew will be up to next time

NYT says first results expected at 8:15...I am excited! Probably it'll take a lot longer than that for all precincts to report in 'cause Massachusetts loves being fucking slow!

(Also a little surprised to learn there's no Republican candidates at all considering that this is a pretty conservative district.)
 
This is like waiting for the last results of a test before a summer break. You think you failed, but hope maybe you passed by dumb luck. Whatever is the case, summer is here, and you're happy to finally put a bow on it.

The very first result of the night is in in Massachusetts...granted it's in Ashland, but seeing the sudden burst of color on the map make me jump a little.
 
I did my part and voted in my district's primary on my lunch break today. It's not MA-8, otherwise I would have voted for Brianna just for the lulz
