Conventions are a joke. I was mostly referring to some worthless middle manager coming up to your desk at work and saying there's a "new initiative" in the office where everyone's preferred pronouns will be put on your employee badge or intranet profile or something. You can tell that doofus to go light his office on fire with the Keurig from the breakroom because you're not participating in that nonsense.

They know their punks and the only way they can say it to is indirectly since they fear being told no. Asking me to put my pronouns in my bio is not going to make me your "ally" or pal anymore than the drivel you spit and the hate that you dish out until it gets served back to ya. It seems like Ashiinu has only been trans for a few months, and I would imagine he's just a transtrender. As much as I hate him, I don't want to see him go down this path, and I feel he can become a better person again. If you're able to contact him, ask him why he's trans.

He's "trans" because he's an impressionable young doofus who doesn't have the faculties to think for himself and make his own educated opinions on matters, he just absorbs and regurgitates the nonsense from his little social media bubble because that's the path of least resistance. Just like every other transtrender on the internet.

The way you're speaking about him suggests that you clearly know him to some degree and I'm just going to go out on a limb and guess that maybe he used to be a friend of yours and he burned you when he went full retard. Let it go. People change, and as shitty as it sounds you do not need people like him in your life because they will only bring you misery and anxiety as you have to walk on eggshells just to ask them how their day is going. Nobody here is going to reach out to him and have a sit down about why he's "trans" because he isn't trans, nobody here cares, and instead we're just going to laugh at idiots online.

If he's the kind of person you hope he is, then he'll realize he's made a huge mistake at some point in the future and man up to try and reconnect and make amends with the friends he's wronged.

When I was 15, there was this dude I met on Discord. Some Mexican who was into modularity (basically a fetish for removable body parts). He wanted to RP with me, and I let him, as long as he didn't do anything sexual (since I was 15 and all). Thing is, literally everything he did was sexual and really creeped me out. Back in the MUCK days minors got groomed all the time. Nobody so much as bat an eye. Like, that one person who came forward about Shmorky was describing the kind of behavior that most people from back then just sort of took for granted.

Cops even got involved once, in a case where someone got involved with a kid they could only have met on a MUCK. This was all back in the 90s/early 2Ks when those games mattered; all of this shit is totally memory holed and erased now.

this was basically my experience on forums around the time. I was young then and not aware of how dangerous it was but in retrospect I don't think I ever found a single furry space that DIDN'T have adults being grossly inappropriate to kids in it until at LEAST 2005.
