One of the things I don't get is:
It's not enough to post dozens of stories making fun of Brianna and revealing dirt on Brianna.
I must oppose Brianna at every moment, in every way, or I'm suddenly some kind of villain again, and a "coward"
This from people with anonymous handles who have taken no risk whatsoever.
Brianna's a jerk but it doesn't do me any good to publicly say that all day.
So get over your religious cult. Being proud of my work isn't going to give Brianna control of the FBI or any of these other crazy scenarios.

Brianna admitted to the New York Times that she no longer has any volunteers or employees. Everyone at Local Berniecrats knows the score. Everyone at DSA knows the score. I've done more to embarrass Brianna than anyone here.

Warren thanks for the posts. We knew Brianna was lazy but never realized how lazy until you revealed a lot about the campaign. Before you started working for Wu's campaign did you know Brianna was a bad candidate but did it anyways because you support anyone over Rep. Lynch, or did you actually have hope Brianna was a good candidate?

Next time someone takes my parking space I'm going to screech and yell about paramentry reform of William Pitt. I mean, it's both something that has no effect on me and no one knows or cares about. At least when we get called Nazi's the avg person knows what they are, or stand for.

Brianna was an unknown before Gamergate, she became a public figure courting a storm of autism and knew exactly what she was doing.

No one is asking you to "take down" Brianna but you atleast have a duty to tell the truth about Brianna to those you sold the lie of a progressive candidate to. It's a pretty big leap by you to assume because we don't want to fix judgement call you made that we don't take any accountabilities in our own life. Contrary to your ranting, we actually don't want (or particularly need, if I'm honest) any kind of commitment to "TAYKUN DAWN BRIANNA" on your part. It's been routinely established that her incompetence does that pretty effectively on its own, and you're kind of a Froot Loop, to put it bluntly.
As we keep saying, you're here as long as you want to be. Nobody is keeping you or asking you to stay, and you're way too emotionally invested.
We're not even actually after Brianna, per se. Mostly what we've done is catalog the lies she tells and some amusing anecdotes about her, put it online for people to see, and watch her flip a shit because it's funny. That's the point of this entire site. We're not here to fix anything or win a fight. We're here to prod lunatics until they do something entertaining.

@W person cow - question, since everyone's talking about that Boston Globe article. Did you ever find out what your boss' trick to getting media coverage was? The one thing the campaign was genuinely good at was getting the occasional puff piece published in major media outlets, far above what a no-name in a quixotic primary campaign would ordinarily merit.

Yes. I have a book on it, although I am not very good at it, being a non fricking sociopath and feeling guilty about it.
Amanda Palmer used to do it too. It's easier for people who are already somewhat famous. And ought to be used for good, now that Trump is using it for... whatever, evil, or Trumpism or whatever. Most celebs do it all the time.
The book is called "Trust me, I'm Lying" by Ryan Holliday. I think kiwifarmers would like it a lot. There are many trolls who employ its techniques already, or related ones. And probably other books on the same subject. Basically a guide to modern big-media trolling. I thought Brianna was using it "for good" but actually probably not. But basically you take an advertiser's "post-truth" approach to news and then saturate the media cycles with lurid stories so its own lack of rigor perpetuates itself.

So, there was no "insider connection" and it was just pure media saturation? In the past some people had speculated that Frank was calling in some favors with Cory Doctorow or another one of his sci-fi acquaintances to pull some strings in the media.

I mean yes pulling strings is absolutely something that must be done to get media attention. You pull every string. I don't know who Cory Doctorow is, but a lot of it's about politely pestering people, sensing who has a friendly ear. It helps to be extremely hungry for their approval, which most celebs are, and to show it in a certain way. I can do it to help friends, but I have a hard time calling up 20 media outlets and telling them *I* am awesome. Others have an easier time with doing it on their own behalf, if they have a certain personality type. And I guess I got confused, having worked with so many mini-celebs with that same hungry narcissism. Because they each had some talent, which got them recognized, and that made them hungry. Whereas Brianna's talent is just the attention-drawing itself. Like Paris Hilton but without the business sense.
Also, Brianna has a very insightful empathy for rich people and knows what to say to them. Just as she seems to have zero for middle class and poor folks. That's why she talks about Porsches all the time. Because other rich people hear it and say "Oh Porsches, we're the same". Like how people fake play golf or whatever. And then they give her money.
I guess I envy that knack, for fundraising and national media. Everybody in that crowd is rich and I can't always hang, with my dirty shoes and my low class ways. But local media is different. I could get you a Globe story with a lot of effort or a Dig story with way less. It's the same kind of game on a different scale, or maybe similar scale but different rules.
But Times I could not get. They're kinda total snobs. Which Brianna fits in with easier than I do.
And she's got the same attention hungry yet entitled personality celebrities often have. Which is easily mistaken for actual celebrity.
It *almost* translates to politics too, as politicians are just as attention hungry and egotistical. But they have to at least *pretend* not to be snobby. The Porsches thing was madness.
