I don't think he doesn't watch his own videos because they're bad. I think he doesn't watch his own videos because he doesn't care, which is what in the end makes them bad. He goes through the motions of uploading them and then they're out of his hair forever. It's how he's been making playlists out of order since 2011. It'd be worth analyzing how he gets from this stage to expecting a large passive income from those same uploads for the rest of his life.

Over the coarse of my relatively short Detracting career I've seen him tweet about watching the "the second half of yesterday's SF Master Run Challenge" and the "Pimp slapped the 11 year old girl" video. In both cases he was nervous about them. My thought was it's a palliative to convince himself he's right when challenged into a less dominant position.

Along with those two examples I've also heard him go on, unprompted by chat, about how Project 7 appeared in his suggested videos and so naturally had to see how those videos held up. He gushed about how great they were. IIRC his wandering down this path lead him to bashing John and Howard with chat begging him to stop.
 
Phil just announced on stream the PS4 Pro arrived at his house.
He also added that someone is sending him a new 4K tv this week.

"Anonymous donation" from someone is not a stream regular.

He's fucking buying all this shit. Who honestly is going to believe that some "anonymous" idiot in his cult spent thousands of dollars on this with no consequences.

It's a valid point - example from my life today, I gave a homeless person my change. Do I expect his friendship in return? Fuck no. I just had a chance to help someone. If he started acting like my friend it would've gotten super weird fast.

There are a few things I will never believe about the Lore:
-Being valedictorian
-Cares or loves anybody but himself
-Saved ALL of his videos on harddrives
-People donate him a ps4pro and 4ktv anonymously.

So... he bought to himself, means he spent a lot of money, means the begging will be harder. The only person we need to laugh in this story is his idiot fans.
 
You know the funny thing is that he could just spin getting the PS4 as a "With your help, I was able to get this!" since all his income is from his fans throwing money at him as is. Yes, it would clash with the 'Pay my bills' narrative, but it's more plausible and at least it shows some sense of acknowledging his fanbase. But you're really going to tell people that someone that tossed $400 in his lap that they wanted to stay anonymous, with whales like Swaggins that love to show off how much they spend? Just admit you caved in and had to burn some money.
 
I thought I'd give the 2 random minutes with DSP thing a shot earlier. Here's how it went.

DSP is fighting the curse rotted greatwood. He sits perfectly still and doesn't make a sound for 2 whole minutes. That's it. I timed it and everything.
 
I like how he thinks that anyone is going to believe that an anonymous fan who isn’t even a stream regular donated the PS4 Pro. Someone who doesn’t even show up to watch him regularly just wants to help out but chooses to remain anonymous for “reasons.” His fans are idiots but I mean come on. Who does he think he’s fooling?

Given how much of a dipshit he is, we can at least hope he bought an older one without HDR because he knows everything about everything and would ignore advice.

You can tell from how utterly miserable he still was, even as he was saying all this. Like, if you got $1100 worth of stuff + money for absolutely nothing, wouldn't you be excited? And yet, he was sitting there, his usual ass-blasted self. And it's b/c he knows he's full of shit and only a few of the dumbest individuals believe his story.

55" 4k smart TV for less than $400.

Edit: This all said, I'm going to take him at his word and add ~$800 for the PS4 Pro and 4k TV to whatever his end-month totals are, cuz fuck 'em.
 
So he got a PS4pro huh? I hope he knows if the fan gets too dusty the shit won't turn on. But of course he most definitively didn't.
 
You think he'd at least be smart enough to wait a week or two in between getting a PS4 and 4k tv. Really, Phil? Random donators just happened to buy you the two parts of the set separately within 24 hours?
 
So Phil is playing SFV tonight and a fan was trying to give him some advice............

What he might not know is tier list is more influential if you fight more skillful opponents, who knows how to utilize better tools of the better characters in the game. Phil is in the silver league fighting agiant Bronze scrubs, both him and his opponent just pressing random buttons and Dragonpunch like mad men, so it doesnt really matter who he uses.........

I am only an average joe platinum league player in sfv so my opinion isnt that important, but it sucks that because Capcom only randomly match you with people in similar ranks I would never get to fight Phil, despite we only live less than 4 hours apart, oh well
