I guess the logic is that the amygdala causes memories associated with strong emotion, like a painful circumcision as they're arguing here, to be remembered/ encoded into long term memory better. But if you get traumatized by circumcision (and then somehow turn liberal because that's how these guys think it works) that's literally the amygdala doing its job, not getting damaged.

OK, that makes some sense, except circumcision is generally done on babies. Most people don't remember things from when they're babies.

That's right, your brain prunes a bunch of synaptic connections when you're growing up and one of the consequences is a loss of memories from when you were very young. (incidentally failure to prune these is a hallmark of :autism:). But who knows, these people obviously don't know shit about how the brain works and are just trying to use a study on liberal vs conservative brains to sound smart.

Has anyone heard of Stell Bell? I don't know the rules on discussing minors within threads, but she's the first person I thought of. She's a tradthot that we can be sure is an actual woman, but she's a giant hypocrite as well. I don't want to break any rules(shes 16) but she has a thread on lolcow.farm if anyone's curious.

That quote fails to mention that Vargs wife is actually autistic because he believes that her tism is a sign of superior cro-magnon genes or some shit. You can see videos of her pitching a stimming fit while they drive their kids to do survival training in the woods or whatever. I'm gonna be honest, I lost the plot on Varg after I lost brain cells trying to figure out the rules of his tabletop game.

Point is, anyone who takes Vargs advice on anything other than tremblo picking and murder is a lost cause, and the fact these chucklefucks take him as something to strive to be speaks volumes.

Coulda sworn there was an old dead thread for him but I couldn't find it. Probably for the best, the thread would be an interesting OP but would taper off real quick. As far as I remember I don't think he uploads much and his videos tend to get pretty repetitive.
