It was a combination of the hateboner for people that don't like DSP and the reaction he had to being raided while streaming one day (and how he completely undid "hiding" from the raiders by outing himself.)

Not funny, just interesting to see who the particularly weird DSP people are behind the scenes, and one thing led to another.

I was thinking the creation of the Austmink thread maybe started a trend of threads for individual fans? If the issue is whether Sidella deserves his own thread, there's always the DSP Fans thread. The two could just be moved there :/

. . .not to be a dick but. . .and? I mean the threshold for people getting "doxxed" on this forum seems to be really low recently. It is a certainty that there are "characters" orbiting DSP, but "the guy is weird and spazzy" doesn't quite rise to the same level as "the guy tried to get DSP detractors fired."

Honestly a few of these need to be folded into some master thread of "Interesting Characters" (assuming of course you're going to continue to "research" people in the DSPhere who are notable for no other reason than giving a buffoon a large amount of money) where actors could be elevated if their behavior really goes off the rails.
 
Am I the only one noticing an increase in childish insult and name calling recently? What does "Pigroach is such a fucking piece of shit!" add to the discussion? I don't know why but people seem to get more and more angry over DSP. Chill out and enjoy the shitshow, no need to get that invested in it.
 
was phil ever confronted over the soundbite of him waking a sick pandalee up to cook him dinner? and if so, how did he go about adding context?
 
I'm gonna take advantage of this handy-dandy Yelling Hole and yell down about the amount of feces that have been smeared around in the past couple days.

-Kat's ex-boyfriend is contacted (despite it being clear he wanted to remain anonymous. Christ knows the shitstorm of idiots he's suddenly found himself the centre of.)

-Sidella's dad is contacted (along with the info that Sidella's sent Phil "$500 in the past few months". Not inconceivable considering the subject, but still, I'd need to see some data with such a claim.)

-Twitch is contacted (in what must be the inconceivable-shitstorm of "Detractor" reports that have been sent to Twitch about DSP, I doubt the element missing from all them was thoroughness.)

Am I the only one who kinda sorta misses the Babies of Gradius recordings? Tevin is great, snort and memology have their moments, gout police always gets me with "BEGGING FOR MONEY!" , but there was something enjoyable about how a group of fellow autitsts would gather to shit on dsp for hours.
 
It's hard to listen to the SOK now. Hearing Fred's restrained, making-a-point voice in retrospect, you realise the act for what it was. He knew how to shrug off the disguise, too. I noticed this move Fred would pull when someone else would start shitting on Phil. While he wouldn't call Phil names himself, he'd be the first and loudest to cackle at the insults, egging on the rest of the group.

And they were stupid. During the Cooking with the King "Let's Endure", they watched Phil bitch about comments telling him not to use metal on a non-stick frying pan. Years later, Phil is in Washington with another Cooking with the King. He cautions the audience, in a manner befitting a sage of cuisine, not to use metal on a non-stick frying-pan. As if he innately possessed this ancient culinary wisdom, and was not bitching about it years before. During this great DSP moment, they're babbling over each other like idiots.

All that said, I still like Fazzy, even though his involvement with the conspiracy non-sense prolly turned most against him. He's got a nerd's sense of humour and an interesting cartoon voice, which I always appreciate. Same goes for Moogle :)
 
About the question of whether an A-Logging post should be deleted (if the matter hasn't already been settled): Could a higher up simply add one of those red bars across the top of the post?

I voted in favor of leaving the posts, that way people could see what it is that's frowned upon. The red bar would let the posts remain while also telling the poster to cut the shit.

All this shit makes me cringe. Even just seeing the amount of Twitter tagging whenever Phil mentions anyoneI don't get it. I guess it is like Plato's Allegory of the Cave, when you are in the Dsp cave this meaningless shit may seem like a huge deal in the world, but everyone outside the cave doesn't give a shit. People should be embarrassed running around tattle tailing on Phil contacting parents and ex boyfriends. What the fuck?
 
I'm just finding it super tedious how people keep repeating the same claims regarding how Google AdSense works without actually looking into it or providing new information. Saying, 'Nuh Uh! AdSense bans are permanent forever! Nothing you dan do! Lies, Lies, Lies!' for the 5,000th time doesn't actually add anything to the conversation.

There are ways you can open a new AdSense account even if you are banned. One involves opening a Google Business account,which would allow you a 2nd chance. It also appears if you change enough of your personal information (address, IP address, the specific computer you are using, etc) you could get a new account approved.

He certainly could have used his parents names, there are many ways he could get around it. Until we have actually information on what he actually did, the speculation and repetition is, to me, just boring thread clogging. Come at me with a link, or your personal experiences with your own AdSense account to qualify your statement, instead of just making a monolithic statement for the umpteenth time.

So far as I understand it Dave has heard back from AdSense once in a form e-mail telling him, 'You filed the wrong appeals form,' and nothing since; so we don't even know if they connected his 3rd 'dummy' account to his original banned account, or if this is a new action. From what I have read AdSense doesn't even take an appeal seriously unless analytical evidence is provided with the appeal, and a YouTube channel doesn't have access to it's direct AdSense traffic analytics to be able to provide, so Dave's 'Wait & See' + send them an appeal that's evidence is just Dave stating 'WRONG! COMPLETELY ERRONEOUS!' is not likely to ever produce a result.

His original account got banned, he was 'confident his appeal would go through because I DID NOTHING WRONG', at some point he created a new AdSense account somehow, he linked this account to his new vlogging channel and KOgaming while DSPGaming was partnered under Machinima, when trying to get partnered under Curse he wasn't able to link DSPGaming to the 2nd AdSense account so he created a 3rd, this was approved for long enough to link with Curse, it would 'do nothing but hurt him' to state the real reason Curse dropped him, upon being released from Curse he noticed his 3rd AdSense account was banned for 'Invalid Click Activity'.

Sorry for whining. Please accept this comedy sketch related to Dave's plans to die in his serious adult GoutHouse come hell or highwater as penance. In DSP fashion it was recorded by pointing a camcorder at a TV

New here, but if I might add a bit of speculation and framing that I think the Adsense conversation is lacking. Everyone is starting wide and working in. Let's work out from the ban.

Since DSPGaming was banned for the same reason his original account was banned, it stands to reason that Youtube figured out that the two channels were being used by the same Adsense holder. KOGaming is largely irrelevant with the bans (for now) because it's clearly a different Adsense that Youtube doesn't know is related (this will be continued later)

There's a few ways this could be. EPerhaps he used too similar of identifying information, he used the same account, or maybe he used the same bank account. Something like that, and then Youtube's algorithms pick up on it while the Adsense is idle, so it was flagged.

Here's what I think happened. I think that when he couldn't link the KOGaming account to DSPGaming for Curse (for whatever reason) He used his old information thinking that if it just turns on while Youtube looks at it, Curse will approve him then when it never gets used Youtube will forget about it.

Finale: It's entirely possible that his talking about "dummy accounts" while pestering people at Youtube could make someone investigate his other account and take KOGaming. Particularly if he bothers the Adsense people cause I bet they hate Youtubers.

Note on KOGaming. It is, at this moment, fairly pointless to speculate on KOGaming's Adsense. There's a list of about 5-10 different ways he could have done that. My personal belief is something lazy like the first was opened with a business EIN and the second was using his personal SSN and he just has two bank accounts. I don't think he would use someone else's name (they could take his money) but it's possible. Beyond that level of mild "eh, maybe" I don't really see the point or the appeal. The fun questions are

1. How did Youtube tie his new Adsense to his old one
and
2. Will they tie them both to KOGaming?

OR

3. Will Dave's talk of "Dummy accounts" get KOgaming banned for a completely different reason?

By the way, I don't know how to find the raw data, but is Dave the #1 most prolific thread? He's got 10mil views on the main thread the others I've seen top out around 5.

And none of them get close to 3300 pages.

I'm good at tracking down tiny bits of information but I don't remember how to parse out a dataset. Haven't practiced since Metacrawler lol

Just on the adsense.

Didnt keemstar have some problems about owning a channel or something after repeated bans? His drama alert channel is actually not his and he is just the host.

Would this apply to dave and kogaming and why its not banned? Maybe its in another name and he is just a host (he opens many videos until recently with 'phil here from kogaming')
