But he can't just abandon it since the mortgage holder can sue for the difference, and he can't do a short sale or a sale below mortgage value because the remaining balance of the mortgage (probably 25-30k still) becomes due immediately.
Couldn't he just move the difference between the debt and the money he get from selling that crummy apartment to his house in WA?

A condo is basically a home. So Phil would pay a payment up front and then pay off the "house" monthly. Some Condo's also have a monthly payment for upkeep. In Phil's case, someone mows his lawn so he would pay for that. An apartment in america is different. An apartment has a contract so you agree to pay 1500 dollars a month for 6 months. Only way phil can get rid of his condos is by selling them or paying them off. It is unclear why he never sold the condo in CT when he moved. Most americans sell their current house before moving.

pretty clear hes an idiot, lets go with that

careful with big words like that, phil will have a hard time understanding

There are a million different ways to get rid of a condo. Each one of them is better than keeping and paying for it forever to sit unused at the other side of the country. He could get rid of it, he's just too lazy or arrogant to. Not one of the excuses I've seen here so far has convinced me otherwise.

In the latest Begfest I like how he's taking out his rage on his fans by playing good cop bad cop and pretending that they're two separate pools between Twitch and Youtube so he can have some plausible deniability. He's ripping pissed at all his fans though.

Thanks for the informations in regards to the khando.

So I woke up today (accomplishment) and just because I had an overdose of Phil's bad commentary the night before I instantly got what I hate most of him. In short, the increasing absence of commentary when something happens on screen. I follow a good bunch of people who are very creative with their commentary, they care about their content and want it to be well received. Sure, in this regard live commentary is the hardest part, everyone can snip together some clips. Yes, the funny part of this statement is how Phil won't even try to be interesting, so he preaches what he won't even do himself. This is the today's Phil, he was always awful, but in the past there was at least an attempt. Now he stays silent and belches in the microphone.

So no news here. I just wanted to share my youngest impression with you in form of a picture with Vice City in mind.

477 subs on twitch (record?)
$873 on patreon.

He's due to get a final paycheck from Curse in August so it's hard to judge everything until the financials are down to purely just twitch and patreon support.

477's not close to his best. He got up (during the ultra-begathon in December, January, and February) to around 580. This was when he tried to set a "Kat cooks" sub goal and was stunned that he couldn't get over 600 subs to meet it, despite needing like 80 gifted subs to get to where he was.

Additionally, he pulled ~$1500 on Patreon when he started it, so he's not even particularly close to that number either, even with the recent PAYMENOW additions.

A perfect example of Phils greed.

Sub to his twitch to watch a stream where you can then cheer and tip and sub again giving even more money after already giving money to see the stream which you're watching.

So my new favorite thing, bringing up watching Dave's old videos. In Dave's Twitch chat. Can't get banned for saying it, but man the salt his viewers show when you do, it's unbelievable.

"Hey Phil, I was watching your entire playthrough of deadly premonition while remixing it with some of your old Sonic playthroughs. Pretty funny stuff. I think I'll watch even more on my day off tomorrow."

Salt in every direction.

Of course, I'm not actually watching that garbage. I'd rather pull a Dead Space 2 and shove a needle in my eye.

If someone clipped it and put it on YouTube, it's still possible for him to get in trouble. When Twitch updated their ToS in March(?) they added a clause that allows streamers to receive strikes for bad behavior even if it's outside of Twitch.

Unless that was reverted I don't believe that is actually the case. Even with the Twitch archive gone, that "evidence" could still be used against him.

Whether or not support would actually care? :optimistic:

Ahhhhh that is why he does not archive as it literally lifts burden of responsibility what a cheating piece of shit kind of disgusting on Twitch's part because all it does is foster toxic behaviour ala Phil. Twitch partners fucking hate Phil and dont want him on or representing the platform.

As for the patreon I recon its just paypigs subbing to it because they do stuff like this all the time because they are special.

I may be mistaken but isn't there a restriction for Twitch partners meaning they can't upload the videos to YouTube for a set amount of time if the VOD still exists on Twitch? If that is correct then he would have to wait before he can upload the videos to YouTube losing out on views for day 1 releases. We all know he would never do that.

The big test for those new patrons is whether they can sustain the increased level of support for Phil for the next few months. If nothing seems to really change as an incentive to be a patron then it'll likely drop. Phil needs a very good idea, very quickly.

That's right. So in order to upload them immediately to Youtube he has to deactivate or delete the VOD (I think he deactivated their creation somehow). For this very reason his VOD collection looks like ass. I don't think it has really something to do with an intended fool's license. It doesn't even really helps because he was already suspended 2 times despite having no recorded vids on Twitch.
I wonder if he will bring the VODs back if he really cancels Youtube.
