A good deal of that letter is asinine, roundabout waffling (someone spread rumours that were totally untrue, except for all the true ones I'll go into detail about now). It's even complete with it's own version of "let me preface this by saying I like the idea of fucking dogs," which is a stellar achievement.

I wonder who is this singular rumour spreader Marl mentions. If you're really going to go offline forever (fat chance) why not just drop a name and be done with it? The amount of vagueities and nonspecifics make it obvious it was highly edited by someone who just wants to revive their weird fetish comic.

I have no doubts the letter has been doctored by Glip. However, they did sell their old house, and guess what's just the kind of thing that's done as soon as marital issues show up? I do think the divorce is legit, selling the house and going their separate ways makes a lot of sense.

One key thing that must be noticed about this 'apology letter' is Glip's beginning statement.

"I have copied Marl's whole letter from his account to mine so that I can ensure it won't be edited or changed without me knowing about it."

This doesn't mean anything in terms of keeping Marl's original note.. well, original(if there even is one). This in fact could mean she re-wrote the entire letter. She simply knows about the changes she's making as opposed to not knowing about it, which is very sly to anyone reading who could be tricked into a false sense of sincerity.

The note itself is really nothing special. "I made this mistake, I made this mistake, and this one. I was scared!" Yeah whatever, you fucking degenerate. You've caused real suffering to the animals that loved you and the people that trusted in you, both subjects whom couldn't be expected to know better at the time. It's pathetic that it took other people digging and discovering your faults for you to actually try changing a portion of your life- that portion just being another escape into degeneracy. Absolutely disgusting.

There is numerous examples of guilt-tripping in this note, especially around the ending where it reads like a suicide note's parting words intentionally, but anyone with some doubt in their mind can pinpoint them with ease. Stay skeptical in any comments they make on Twitter, they could always keep Marl around with the man hiding under another name and we may unfortunately not know any better unless they toss us a hint.
