My high school English teacher taught every grade of English (it was a small school, so 9-12 took her for English) and the grade below me was assigned a journal project. My ex was in that class and complained that she was getting poor grades on her journal entries.
So I started writing the journal for her. She still got poor grades, which was surprising because I took freshman comp at university in the summer and got an A so I thought I knew how to write at an acceptable level. I thought maybe it was the content of the journal. I started writing sexually explicit material in the journal and detailed fictional encounters between various students.
She started getting A's on her journal entries. The English teacher in question was female and devoutly religious, which was interesting to me. I guess sometimes you gotta cater to your audience?
