All of these points are shit. Why the fuck would anyone want to identify as trans if they don't have gender dysphoria? (spoiler: autism, I know). Being so uncomfortable with your body and the sex characteristics of your birth gender is the whole damn point of being transgender. That's why actually transgender people feel more comfortable in their own skin once they transition and the transtrenders who start taking hormones of their target gender end up with dysphoria and ultimately de-transition.

It's a damn kid's movie. Why are people analyzing a Disney movie for children like it's Amadeus or One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest? And we're bringing up white straight men in a kid's film because? Imagine taking a kid's movie this seriously.
 
As if you'll ever see Tumblr discussing something like Amadeus or One Flew. The only "adult" movies they analyze outside of nostalgia shit they grew up and coke capeshit / scifi fantasy junk food is movies that pander to them (feminism, LGBT, etc).

Personally, I'm just glad that nobody with half the sense they were born with is going to be allowing 'regionalcryptid' to take a lead writer role on a BBC TV show any time soon.

Yesterday I saw on tumblr:
BBC Sherlock is the best adaption of Sherlock Holmes because it succeeded in making me despise the character of Sherlock Holmes for the rest of my life (and eternity) and made me never want to touch the stories ever again and that’s what Arthur Conan Doyle would have truly wanted.

Is it because of Cumberbatch? That man is on the list of white guys tumblr irrationally hates (Because, I assume, they are popular but tumblrshits in question aren't horny for them).

I don't remember the movie explicitly saying that Milo needed to be the hero, he was the hero cause Rourke was planning to take advantage of the Atlanteans and steal their life source for financial gain, but at least they got the part about the crew coming back and saying they never found Atlantis to protect them right. There's something I guess

You'd think Tumblrinas would like Atlantis way more when the main villains are evil ypipo trying to take advantage of the poor, peaceful POCs.

Milo understands the culture so well because he's the equivalent of an Atlantis weeaboo; the main reason he's on the crew in the first place. He's a useless sperg who nobody likes at the beginning for being a useless sperg. It's shown that Milo doesn't understand their language better because Kida makes fun of his autistic attempt to speak Atlantean when they meet. His obsession with Atlantis is key because they lost a lot of their civilization in the flashback shown right at the beginning of the fucking film. He knows obscure ancient shit about Atlantis because he autistically dedicated his life to learning about their culture. The Atlanteans have a good amount of autonomy, and they use Atlantean ships when they start pursuing Rourke. Kida isn't passive at all, and even when she's "fridged," (semi-literally in this case), she doesn't turn into a crying baby. Tumblr should take more umbrage with something more idiotic like the Atlanteans not all dying from smallpox as soon as the crew meets them.
 
I think it happened just because the SuperWhoLock fandom managed to annoy everyone else on the site so much it put a lot of people off the shows.

I remember when people were celebrating when Dashcon killed off SuperWhoLock only for Steven Universe and Voltron to take its place. Now there are people who really want the days of SuperWhoLock back.
