Dont know if anyone has talked about this, but there's a new cartoon coming out called Summer Island camp on CN.

Its like a furry version of adventure time and camp lazlo.

I dont really like the artstyle to be honest. It looks really plain and doesnt have much variety in colors. At least adventure time was nice to look at and was pretty colorful.

And the show is just about how there's magic on the island and people dont believe its true.

I dunno it looks okay, and might last for a while, but it certainly wasnt something I thought CN was going to have on their channel.

At least Infinity Train might happen soon.

Well, as someone who does legit enjoy Adventure Time (and Regular Show, just that little bit more, of course.), that's some good criticism there.

The show just looks like AT, except taken to an extreme it shouldn't be. As in it looks and feels like it's going nowhere truly special, nor doing what it takes to draw in more than just the target demo, like those 2 examples otherwise successfully have at some point in their respective runs.

It looks harmless, but doesn't look to have that appeal it needs to last longer than 2 seasons, sadly - not helping is when it premieres, it'll be marathoned to death by bad scheduling.

Plus, once again - it suffers from trying to copy a style that should have only been kept to the 2 shows that used it well (at least IMHO.) and didn't need to be applied to every show (which, again, are AT & RS.), which is CN's biggest issue with their shows right now.

Well, actually, it's more like beanmouth abuse, which started with Steven Universe (Gumball doesn't count because it's far more creative with its style and background choices; FACT.). At least it's not copying that. What I'm saying is this show will do OK, but it won't have a visibly strong fan base. Same story with a lot of cartoons I like from current decade that aren't overrated BS like... Whatever 4chan exceptionally obsesses over, anyway.

Yeah I dont really see it last for that many seasons. It looks better as a short cartoon series like over the garden wall. But a long one? One thing I do like about this show is that the pacing isnt fast pace like other shows (like ttgo). It has a more natural pace to it, which sadly might bore kids who arr use to fast pace cartoons.

Like craig of the creek is nice, but suffers from being placed in weird time slots and competing with other less popular cartoons like okko, for those spots.

After all ttgo is CN cash cow and they love showing that show every single day.

I dont know what other new cartoons would be shown in CN eventually, but until ttgo stops making money, CN is just going to keep giving that show all its favorable time slots.

In the end, I think people would either like it or not, but I wont be surprised if it suddenly disappears from CN due to lack of rating.

When I first heard of that show, I thought it was going to be a cheapo furry rip-off of Total Drama Island.

Butch Hartman continues to be a hack. Eh... Just another Friday wasted not having actual fun for me, honestly.
Eh, I'd say Butch has talent, Elf Detective honestly looks beautiful, it's just that the guy is clearly an artist, not a businessman.

OK... I'll give you that much. He always did know how to actually dra2 worth a damn unlike most people who abuse the beanmouth style. I just wish his writing quality wasn't so fucking committee-driven weak.

It varies, his newer shit (anything after Danny Phantom and...maybe Tuff Puppy) is definitely crap, though it does sound like this might be going for an older demographic (ironic, given the Common Sense Media vibes his Kickstarter video has given). I'm cautiously interested in it

Disney's apparently produced a new show starring the Three Caballeros - but it's only available in the Philippines at the moment.

I hope it does come to America at some point.

EDIT: If you look on YouTube you can find the theme song (in terrible quality, so I'm not posting it here) - it's the Three Caballeros song from the original film.

It was nice they used the theme song (of course they apparently swiped out "Gay" for "Brave" but I'm sure we know why anyway).
