Waluigi should just be a Luigi echo, they already have the model.

If there’s anything I’m mildly salty about it’s that bomberman is in but only as an assist, he’s pretty close to the sort of trap character I was imagining with that Lolo concept. Just tone the bombs down a little and make every single B attack a different projectile. Link having remote bombs now is neat though.
 
They'll probably just throw Waluigi in with a DLC update or something like several characters in the previous Smash. As already pointed out, he's already got a full in game model render so just whip up some new attacks and use him to keep the masses happy at some point down the road.

Besides, he's probably one of the most minor characters in the entire Mario universe - compared to Ridley who basically has co-star status with Samus at this point and was probably far harder to implement and yet he's Day 1 base level content.
 
One of the weirdest trends I have noticed are these fan wikis for Smash Bros games that don't exist. Like take this one for example:http://ssb-tourney.wikia.com/wiki/Super_Smash_Bros._Tourney_Wiki

It's this incredibly autistic wiki that is filled with characters like Barney, a Little Einsteins character, a Super Why characters, and other autistic shit. The wiki is filled with gems such as:

-"Mamoswine to Barney the Dinosaur in Intro: "Out of ALL the stag shows that you did long ago, which one did you like the best?"

-"Casey to Amy Rose in Intro: "TEAM UMIZOOMI I'M REALLY WORRIED..."

-"Just as DoorMouse was opening up his new school, DoorMouse University, he received a letter from Nintendo saying that a tournament is being held at Nintendo Land. He raced from UmiCity to Nintendo Land, and signed up for the Smash Bros. Tourney. The manager told DoorMouse that Miyabi Kagurazaki was waiting for him at the end of the Tourney. DoorMouse was enraged that Team Umizoomi is after the gold trophy as well, so he aligned forces with Raoh and Jagi to defeat Team Umizoomi once and for all."

And other assorted autism.

Doubt it. It would be extremely awkward explaining why Waluigi could summon Waluigi as an assist trophy.

Not really - they never explain how you can have Dr. Mario beating the shit out of himself in casual wear, or why Samus is fighting herself without armor.

Waluigi summoning himself almost sounds like a powerup.
 
lmfao all the scrubby Melee players are already bitching at the game on social media except people aren't having it this time, it's actually amazing.
 
Melee fans are playing the same party game for 15+ years, they'll never move on. The complaints about it possibly leaving EVO are completely retarded and unjustified.

-The game is old as fuck and taking the spotlight from new gamers.
-The meta is already stablished and you'll never see anything new
-The same 4 or 5 "gods" always win.
-There's already more than enough national Smash melee events and championships (Apex, Genesis, Smash n splash, super smash con, Shine...)
-Setting up Melee is much harder than other games because you need CRT televisions.

Of course, that doesn't stop them from thinking Melee is literally carrying EVO and deserves a permanent spot.

Even if you get big numbers, you have to fucking insane to think EVO "will die" without melee in the main selection, they can still have it as a side tournament anyway.

Why I hate the community sometimes. People being spoiled and whining that certain characters aren't in it or are in it.

The new game has 65 characters and people aren't still happy. There are cases where fans will give Sakurai Death Threats over characters. It's sad.

Smash fans are like rich children who constantly sperg about how "I want this thing and I want it now." And when they don't get their way they throw themselves on the flair and make shitty memes and videos bitching about it.

EDIT: also every character this guy is saying Nintendo should've revealed are all 3rd party characters.

Considering Shantae is an Indie character.

I seen people have year long hissy fits on why they won't buy it. Then they buy it anyway.
 
A while back on this thread, I predicted that assist trophies are coming back, and lolcows would be salty over their favorite character/waifu not being playable. And as it turns out...
