I mean ill still give it an honest look. The first reboot was just too good to not ignore this version. I want closure dammit.
 
If I ever pitch a cartoon, my only condition is that they don't change the art style into whatever that is.

I have. Even with styles not reminding me of SJW Universe.

This reboot is absolutely unnecessary in every way, shape and form. And while I personally thought the 2011 reboot was pretty lacking in and of itself (ending on a cliffhanger didn't help), I'd rather watch that than whatever the hell this is.

Star blazers got rebooted but Japan did not let the filthy gaijins touch it, was so good that even has a sequel

Power rangers got a comic that was actually good and now they are in the Shattered grid event that for all purposes I can describe as crisis on infinite earths with robots , I thank the gods that they are never going to animate it

Thankfully the Japanese already have us covered in that department. Search out Space Battleship Yamato 2199 and its sequel series 2202. It's everything you ever wanted. And I think technically the Japanese producers have the rights to the Star Blazers branding as well.

Now Robotech? That we are completely fucked with.

I'll say this much--the intro at the end of the video is actually really lively and decently animated for what it is. At least to where the animation looks fluid and bouncy enough to have an energetic feel. The show is probably going to suck ass but I'll give them that.

Tumblrcats looks like fucking garbage, but it's not like Thundercats was a masterpiece to begin with. I hope it becomes unreasonably successful, the salt would rival Teen Titans Go.

Like clockwork. But the sad part is that his demo reel is actually pretty good and he worked on some great animated shows like Motorcity.
 
The show looks shit, the asshurt fansboys spergery will be used to deflect criticism and nerd media is 95% native advertising, so negative feedback will be meaningless.
I'm not an artist so I just find the the style bland and forgettable in the minimum effort cartoon network style but I know bad comedy when I see it and you can only get so far on 'irony'.

I honestly don't get why they're doing this,it will generate ill will with the old fucks and the kiddies won't know/don't care about the thundercats so the name has no value. They may as well just produce some new setting with new characters. But that would requiresome soul so here we are....

Something about keeps reminding me off my thoughts we're heading for a 'decline' period as a civilization. I have no idea why as it appears to be a bland cartoon for children.

Judging by the responses we’re probably already headed for another TTG. Maybe even TTG on steroids.

If the showrunners decide to make fun of their hatedom, like the TTG ones have done, I might have a grudging respect for them.

Oddly I think that was the only thing I really objected too as it was an indication of the current trend of strawmanning the shit out of detractors which has led to critics of pop culture garbage being treated as bad people. An attitude which is genuinly poisonous for art.
