The art really does look like someone from tumblr made it.

Its so lumpy and unappealing to look at.

The character design is just not great and sure the animation might be better but its not really going to make the show any better.

I am quite sure that no one asked for this to be made, and the art style is garbage.

Its cheap. Its easy. You can hire literal ret@rds to create it for pennies and aim it at the lowest common denominator while making it tumblr-SJW friendly (which is why cheetara is now some flat chested FTM tranny looking creep) and thanks to CalArt and such you can sell shitty animation as some masturful artpiece these days to the critics

Finally some good news! I've been waiting for them to make a new series after the reboot got canceled after the first season. I-- wait... why is this labeled "Disaster"? We all make choices and theirs was to squeeze as much as they could out of the name with no regard for the original premise and fanbase. Comics went through this not long ago so it'S not entirely unexpected, just disappointing.
