Rather than rant on about the private affairs of Christine's financial situation, you should be fruitful and help them in their time of need.
Deuteronomy 15:10 (NIV)
“Give generously to them and do so without a grudging heart; then because of this the LORD your God will bless you in all your work and in everything you put your hand to.”

We do, it's called paying taxes.

If Chris somehow got his shit together and decided to get a job, which we know he won't because he's a lazy fatasss, I think he would only be able to make it a week without either becoming comfortable/trying to boss other Co workers around, or flipping out when someone calls him Chris/sir/dude/bro. With Chris delusions, we know he hates being called by his God given pronouns, so if someone accidentally/purposely does this, we know Chris will have a absolute shit fit and temper tantrum or start to threaten people. Plus we all know that Chris has absolutely no respect for anyone else but himself. I could see Chris working in a call center answering calls and flipping out on the customers when they call him sir or Chris. Long story short, if Chris somehow manages to get a job, he wouldn't last more than a week.

Then we have the weens who would call in to make false accusations against Chris to get him in trouble. And with Chris's ego, we know that if he lands a job, he's going to immeadiatly post some smug ass post/tweet saying, "I have a job. Take that and shove it you damn dirty trolls!" If Chris would learn how to keep his ego in check and not tell everyone everything (which is to him, impossible) then no one would make complaints. Same thing goes for the gym that banned him. Of Chris didn't post about it and kept his big mouth shut, he'd still be able to access the gym and make shitty attempts to work out.

In order for Chris to keep a job, he would need an understanding manager. Considering he would probably be hired as a special needs outreach program, that seems reasonably possible.

And as you say, he would need to change his default attitude. He would have to know to put his head down and suck it up. Have the attitude that, yes, sometimes things are going to suck, and you can grumble about them after, but at the time you just have to take it, because if you don't, you won't have a job.

I am more optimistic than most on the board about him being capable of adopting that attitude on the most part if he really wanted to and was motivated to. He has shown the capability of grasping concepts like "you must do x". But as has been said, things like the tugboat mean he isn't particularly motivated to do it.

He has also shown the ability to be attracted to his mother, but if that's something he'd actually take into consideration doing is unlikely. Just as unlikely as him getting a job of any sort. Even his own interest based opportunities have fallen flat because Chris just isn't motivated to do anything. At least, do anything he wants to do right then and there. For example, if he'd get a job he might show up for a day but the next day decide he's going to stay home iGrifting on Youtube for donations.

I used to believe that even the most autistic people could find a place in this world that would not only benefit themselves, but those around him. That may still be the case for many, but not Chris. Had it just been autism then maybe, but he's got so many more issues that will prevent him from having any form of meaningful or gainful existence.

Now, I'm not 100 percent certain here, but I'm guessing God meant to give to the poor, who cannot afford to even buy food or even have a roof above their head.

Pretty sure it wasn't about generously giving to the unwashed autist so he could buy more LEGOs

Why would Chris get a job when he gets paid to not work? If I was a low agency tard who didn't care about living in squalor I'd probably get a tugboat too

Chris should do what he did for the Sonichu Girls forum again and sell locks of his hair. They'd be a limited edition of 5 because he only has enough hair for 5.

Exactly.

Interestingly enough, the Bible has some fun quotes concerning Weens (and their spending money on Chris):

Proverbs 13:18

Poverty and disgrace come to him who ignores instruction, but whoever heeds reproof is honored.

1 John 3:17-18

But if anyone has the world's goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God's love abide in him? Little children, let us not love in word or talk but in deed and in truth.

Proverbs 22:26-27

Be not one of those who give pledges, who put up security for debts. If you have nothing with which to pay, why should your bed be taken from under you?

Luke 14:28-30

For which of you, desiring to build a tower, does not first sit down and count the cost, whether he has enough to complete it? Otherwise, when he has laid a foundation and is not able to finish, all who see it begin to mock him, saying, ‘This man began to build and was not able to finish.’

Luke 16:11

If then you have not been faithful in the unrighteous wealth, who will entrust to you the true riches?

Proverbs 13:16

In everything the prudent acts with knowledge, but a fool flaunts his folly.

I think Matthew 6:2 is also pretty appropriate: "Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward." Except one major difference is dumbasses who admit giving Chris money get laughed at instead of praised.

Something just hit me as I was caching up on the thread.

Where I'm working now, there's a group of men and women with Downs and autism (real true and honest autism, not "high functioning" meme autism) who come in three or four times a week and do some light manual labor for a few hours. They are part of a day program for special needs adults. They get paid the same hourly rate as the "regular" employees, and even though they get things done a little slower, they do a pretty damn good job.

It's just amazing knowing that Chris would completely fail to keep up with these people who are far, far below him in intelligence, and that he would never seek out the services of a similar program despite the fact that it would be basically impossible to get fired and he would only have to give up relatively little of his precious time.

The local fast food places around here hire mentally disabled adults to do work like clean the floors and restock the front etc. They are usually the nicest people there too. They did have the benefit of active parents, something Chris never had. Bob tried, but he eventually gave up and went the easy route.

I don't think will ever get a job (or keep a job) without involvement with adult services. He needs a support worker if he is ever going to be eased properly into the world of work, but as a lot of people say, he won't accept help now. From what I've seen, people similar to Chris don't 'stick' with skills programs and programs designed to ease the disabled/disengaged with the system into work.

It's gone too far. He knows he has his tugboat, his mommy, a roof over his head that will stay there as long as the 'legend of Chris Chan' bounces around the internet and he has fast food within walking distance. Not to mention his retarded toy collections and crayola fuckin' model magic. He is so utterly content where he is. Why WOULD he need to work???

And chances are, if he was willing to engage with services and was offered a case worker, he'd probably only accept on the grounds of the worker in question being sweet, young, female and boyfriend-free.

Edit:

THIS. But even if the parents don't go completely above and beyond, it can be anyone around a disabled individual, teachers, churches, medical professionals, neighbors even, that manage to make a semi-normal life attainable for people who would otherwise become the CWC's of the world. People have tried, and I think if Bob & Barb had been younger maybe, or generally less shitty people, the people that did try to help Chris might have finally gotten through to him.

The school district did want to put Chris in special classes- but Bob moved him 70 miles away to Richmond where they would mainstream him. But that ended up backfiring because all they did was pass the buck along until they could get him out.

I'm not sure how he got his diver's license with the amount of fuckery that went into raising him.

No, they wanted to put him in a special school. When they tried to put him in special classes, Bob and Barb completely Ok'd it. Chris took special classes in school.

And that was their biggest mistake when it came to Chris. He should have went to a school that catered to special needs students. It's fairly obvious that special ed classes alone weren't enough...

Chris is a fairly standard sperg, mentally. The crucial step was the failure to prepare him for independence, after graduation.

You don't think that it would have been helpful for Chris to attend a school that would have actually helped him learn to better manage his autism, and helped him to become more independent? Because that's basically the entire point of special education schools; They try to educate and prepare people with disabilities for adulthood, and they provide special education and services to help their students meet that goal. Every case is unique of course, but that's the entire purpose of those types of schools.

I'm not being an asshole and just saying that chris deserved to ride the short-bus, or he needed to go to retard school. My point is that sometimes special classes in a normal high school just aren't enough... Sometimes more is needed if a person is expected to live a normal life.

And in Chris's case, I don't think the classes he attended were enough. I mean consider for a second where we're discussing this... All I'm saying is that perhaps with a proper education where he learned to manage his autism (to the best of his capabilities), we wouldn't be here right now having this discussion.

I don’t know about the first part of this.

I know Chris’s mental state has declined over the years due to his isolation and his choosing to live in a fantasy world but I don’t think I would classify him as a “standard sperg”. While I agree his autism is fairly high-functioning, many folks with Asperger’s have average, or even above-average, intelligence. Chris, on the other hand, is either borderline exceptional or (at the very least) really dumb.

I’ve long said that Chris got the Triple Crown of mental defects - he’s a sperg, he’s probably a tard, and he’s on his way to going well and truly nuts. But, yeah, Borb did him no favors by coddling him and failing to prepare him for any sort of an independent life.

It might've been, sure. But that's not the crux of his problems nowadays.

My argument is that Chris is not in this situation because of his autism. If you're talking about giving him "how not to get catfished" classes then yeah, you'd be right. But autism coping classes wouldn't do shit to prevent this.

Those classes teach people with autism how to avoid chimping out in public, or how to more carefully analyze people's speech or their emotions and things like that. Not in a million years could they prevent an organized group trying to catfish the autist for laughs or money.

Chris is in the situation because people much smarter than him, and more organized than him, are able to run rings around him. And then beyond that, everyone in his life is incompetent at intervention. He really shouldn't be permitted online without supervision.

What I meant to say was that Chris' autism itself is fairly standard. His unintelligence and him getting catfished wouldn't really have been prevented by him getting more autism classes.
