Is it some kind of e-signature that you use a mouse or touchpad to scrawl something resembling your signature? If not then that is pathetic.

Why does she keep threatening to write blog posts when she doesn't have a blog? Why has nobody asked for any followup about any of the blog posts she claims to be writing? Somebody ask for the link to her blog please.
This is John's blog. As of tomorrow, he hasn't posted to it in three years.

It's where, in true John Flynt "feminism" style, he infamously defended his husband - by pretending Frank was under attack on Twitter by Gamergate - one day after Frank's second wife accused him of horrific abuse. All John had to say about Alison's scathing post was: "I’m not going to comment on any of the blog post in question."

Someone should pass that on to Anne and Wil Wheaton and ask Anne if she's still "so proud of you for running, Brianna! GO GO GO!!"

Yes, you can see it's from hellosign.com. He probably did it with one finger on his phone screen.

The organization he's begging an endorsement from looks like a small-time operation:
https://voteprochoice.us/
Here's the specific questionnaire John is complaining about having to fill out:

REEEEEEEE

Can someone explain how these endorsements work please?

I noticed earlier that Stephen Lynch had a long list of unions endorsing him, but can an organisation only endorse one candidate? Is it pointless (well, more pointless that reality would suggest) for John to approach an organisation already endorsing another candidate?

Basically what I'm saying is, I'd LMFAO if it turned out misogynist Lynch had more endorsements from bigger and better feminist/women's groups than John come primary time.

Most endorsements are just for advertising purposes, and to say that a special bloc says you'll support their cause. People who care about the environment can see who the Sierra Club endorses, people who care about gun rights can see who the NRA endorses. Those are big ones, but there are literally thousands of little groups that will endorse a candidate. Big endorsements (from the NRA or from certain large union groups) come with advertising and volunteers: there are strict laws about the campaign and the supporting group communicating with each other, but the end result is the same. Small endorsements are just for bragging rights. Politicians on every side of the aisle collect them.

Lynch will get more, but most likely very few legitimate groups will endorse anyone in this primary. It's not remarkable for endorsing groups to sit out an election when they're not very positive about any candidate.

Edited to add that it's striking that literally nobody has endorsed her yet. Endorsements are already being doled out left and right to candidates in this election. Google Ayanna Pressley Endorsement to see lots of press releases of organizations endorsing her. She's another upstart woman running against a popular white male incumbent. She's just running a serious campaign and being taken seriously. Edited again because here's a link to make things easy: http://www.eastietimes.com/2018/04/21/political-endorsements/

Is there any sense in which Wu actually believes these things when she says them? They're so patently absurd that even Wu can't imagine she's fooling anyone. Maybe the person she's fooling is herself, and in her head she thinks she's the incredibly stylish Alison Holiday who is the best at everything.
Wu’s Twitter is just a custom RSS feed from Salon.com where every instance of “women” is replaced with “we” or “I.”

Oh cool, another four minutes of a Chinese leprechaun screaming at us about shit neither you nor he understands? I guess that's pretty much the same thing as going out and actually meeting the people who live in the district you're supposed to be representing.

I love that early on she was all "Steven Lynch doesn't even fix his own car!"

Then she destroyed the car through ineptitude and replaced it with two Porsches and a maid service

Something tells me she would have wrecked her car if she actually took up Jace on the street racing offer.

All right, first of all, that's the worst "explanation" of Spectre/Meltdown I've ever seen. Second of all, this is exactly the sort of petty minutiae a legislator shouldn't be getting bogged down in.

I still say half the reason Frank's funding this campaign is because he wants an excuse to broadcast his arts and crafts on TV.

Did it really take them this long to read enough Wikipedia articles they felt confident make a campaign video on Spectre/Meltdown? It's been out of the news cycle for a couple weeks at this point. The boat has long sailed. This is the era of social media and a 24/7 cycle of what passes as news, you have to either be current or referencing something long established to connect and get your voice heard.

I can't find the references offhand, but all that "Ring 0" stuff was something John liked to throw around during his "Engineering Chief of Chief Engineering" days to prove how smart he was. The chance to actually work it in to something semi-topical must have been irresistible.

I know my reference is going to miss the mark, because I'm sure many of you are too young to remember, but:

Is he some kind of ghoulish tyranny version of Ross Perrot with those charts?

Anyway, its interesting that he used the term "predictive computing" to, I think, in this context mean predictive code execution or branch perdition. Predictive Computing typically refers to things like predictive analytics in AI / machine learning.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to watching the ad to see how they fuck it up.
