DNC sues Russian government, Trump campaign, WikiLeaks alleging conspiracy to help Trump win election
By Avery Anapol - 04/20/18 11:10 AM EDT

The Democratic National Committee is suing the Russian government, the Trump campaign and WikiLeaks, alleging that the three entities conspired to help Trump win the election.

The Washington Post reported Friday that the DNC filed the multi-million dollar lawsuit in federal district court in Manhattan.

“During the 2016 presidential campaign, Russia launched an all-out assault on our democracy, and it found a willing and active partner in Donald Trump’s campaign,” DNC chair Tom Perez said in a statement.

“This constituted an act of unprecedented treachery: the campaign of a nominee for President of the United States in league with a hostile foreign power to bolster its own chance to win the presidency."

The DNC is seeking millions of dollars in damages related to the hacked DNC emails that WikiLeaks published during the campaign, according to the Post.

The lawsuit alleges that hacking and publishing the DNC emails was part of a larger conspiracy to damage Clinton’s campaign and help Trump win the election.

The suit names as defendants several Trump campaign aides who met with Russian nationals during the campaign, including campaign chair Paul Manafort and Trump campaign deputy Rick Gates, both of whom have since been charged in special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into Russian meddling.

The DNC lawsuit also names Trump's eldest son, Donald Trump Jr., son-in-law and White House adviser Jared Kushner and on-and-off Trump confidante Roger Stone.

The suit comes months after Mueller indicted 13 Russian nationals and three Russian groups in his investigation on charges related to interference in the election.

The GOP-led House Intelligence Committee, one of several congressional committees also investigating possible collusion, shut down its investigation earlier this year, asserting that they found no evidence of collusion. Democrats on the committee blasted the panel’s decision to end the probe.

Trump himself has repeatedly dismissed the investigation into Russian meddling as a “hoax” and “witch hunt,” and has maintained that there was “no collusion” between his campaign and Russia.

How are they going to prove a scrap of this, anyways? They had the opportunity to hand their "hacked" servers over to the FBI, but chose not to, and in their blind panic to cover Hillary's ass they've probably long-since wiped the servers.
Their only plan since the election has been to create as much Russia-related noise as possible to create a perception of support for their evidence-free narrative. They don't have any money, they don't have social or political issues people care about (lol trannies), they just have the Russia excuse for losing. And they have to push it into pubic acceptance, proof or no proof, or they're fucked.

If I'm wrong, I will be happy to admit it once I've seen hard evidence of their specific initial claims about Russia--that they were the source of the Wikileaks info on the DNC and that Wikileaks has an improper relationship with them, that they directly interfered in a substantial way in the 2016 election, that Trump illegally colluded with them to defeat Hillary. I don't expect to get anything like that.

Anyone here know of this Q-anon character that's allegedly deep in the inner White House?

I only found out about this character a few days ago, but apparently they've posted a lot of stuff on 4chan, then 8chan, regarding upcoming happenings, a lot of which have come to pass.

Anyway, according to this character's narrative, a lot of 12d chess against 'the swamp' has been going on in the background for a long time, concerning the DNC, Clinton and others, and is soon about to come to fruition. Apparently.

If this is true, is this a last desperate throw of the dice by the DNC?

I'm pretty new here, so apologies if the Q-anon thing has previously come up and been dealt with. I'd be interested though in the opinion over whether this is just bs or not..

Q-Anon is a LARPing retard to give Boomers something to do and /pol/ is almost completely full of shit when it comes to politics on any side of any aisle. They might provide useful snippets once every week or two, but by-and-large almost everything that comes off of that platform is unsubstantiated, unsourced bullshit.

Jesus Christ this horseshit is 66 pages long.

Every single line in here is just a train wreck or some kind of ridiculous refutation of fact. This is like some kind of massive, legal equivalent of "NO U." It all hinges on a singularly flawed premise, though: Russia would had to have hacked the DNC for any line of these allegations to make any sense, and we already know that the information that was dumped off of the DNC servers was done locally, because the information was transferred entirely too quickly (source) for it to have been a remote download. (IE: Seth Rich)

Beyond that they are correct in that nearly a dozen local intelligence agencies and European intelligence agencies "agreed" that the DNC was hacked, but that's only because every single one of them was taking Comey's FBI at its word, and the FBI never actually examined the DNC servers. They were only ever examined by Crowdstrike, a cyber security firm that was hired by the DNC following the "hack." Crowdstrike has a particularly strange, shady history that only gets murkier when you realize that one of their major investors was Alphabet Inc. (Google), and the chairman of that company, Eric Schmidt, is the same chairman who kicked off "Groundwork", which was nothing more than a huge, little-reported effort to install Hillary Clinton as the President.

I have no words for this. Unless they're just doing this to drum up their own media frenzy to take everyone's eyes off the fact that McCabe and Comey are about to get shoved in a police car feet-first, or if they're doing this to try and rummage up donations because their coffers are 80% dust and spiderwebs, I have no idea why they think that getting an unwinnable lawsuit slapped to the floor right before the midterms is a good idea.

Do they not understand that Trump and the RNC would be the defendants in this lawsuit suit, and that they would have the right to "discovery" pertaining to opening up the DNC servers? That's how stupid these people are. They're going to open up the last can of worms that thus-far has been kept sealed in the whole Steele Dossier story if they keep waltzing down this road.

TL;DR.

There's a thread on it in Community Watch.

@It's HK-47

Yep, This is a panic suit that was cooked up as fast as possible to head-off a bunch of inconvenient indictments a-comin' down the pike. Because the public totally bought the last 30 times you guys did this...

Holy fuck that’s embarrassing. People were just starting to forget how pathetic the DNC has been lately and then they pull this. We’re living in amazing times.

You know, I feel retarded for this but after reading through all the posts in this thread so far it literally just now hit me, the DNC is suing the RUSSIAN GOVERNMENT according to this. A different country's government, but on what legal grounds? Like, holy shit you guys, what the fuck are you doing? God I can't breathe.

Americans never cease to amaze me, on every aspect from the most autistic shit to the most cool gadget/discovery.
In this case it's the autism *sigh*

Donald Trump is the greatest thing to happen to American politics.
Correct me if I'm wrong but from outside it seems that Trump didn't won, but Hillary lost, I mean Trump wasn't voted because he was the best option but only to prevent Hillary's ass on the white house, right?

There's two main sides in that area, imo, outside of those that didn't vote or voted Hillary. There's the voters that voted for Trump from the get-go because he's charismatic and made good promises and speeches, and stuff like quite literally what the new Rosseane's first episode said("he talked about jobs"), people who had faith in him.

Then there's the side that did it for what you said, comprised of people that voted from the get-go purely because they saw him as the lesser evil as well as those who WANTED to believe in Clinton but gradually woke up and smelled the bullshit as Hillary kept shooting herself in the foot and shitting on middle/working class and all that, and said "Fuck this, I'm out" and either didn't vote at all or switched sides.

And I can't really say that's a bad thing. Speaking neutrally, I'd rather a charismatic shit over a depressed and antagonistic shit any day.

Little of column A, Little of column B

He was the only one with a semblance of a platform and actually connected with the younger audience, even those who were initially on the fence leaning left decided Trump was the only one that wasn't running purely on fumes.

EDIT:

Well, as far as platforms are concerned, Bernie allowed the competition to gnaw at whatever gummy mass of a spine he had into nothing. He admonished himself into losing.

Maybe another reason they're going for this insane hail-mary play is because they get to say "oh you can't trust them, they're being sued" during the midterms.

Also, I hope the DNC gets sued for filing a frivolous lawsuit and they go all the way broke.

Trump won fair and square, despite what the dems say.
