It's amazing how far a person can get with no actual skills, just repeating assertions. Brianna Wu has made absolutely no effort in proving their technical acumen or abilities, merely gotten angry at people who question them and repeated how much of an expert they are. What has Brianna Wu actually done?

The fact that you feel comfortable enough to mount this misogynistic attack on an accomplished engineer, journalist, and game designer just goes to show how negative of an impact Gamergate had on the internet as a whole and I hope Ms. Wu is able to use her position in Congress to to make a positive change for women.
 
I can't believe that horrible Stephen Lynch doesn't use Twitter 24/7 and respond to every random who @'s him! Why can't everyone sit in their house all day playing with toys like I do? What kind of government official is he?? It's not like he has official channels you can use that provide the best means of getting in contact with him or anything.

You know, the file formats and specifications the FEC requires for electronic filing are all open for anyone to implement.
Surely an ace software engineer and advocate for open source software in government could start her own project to implement better software to do the job.

I cannot think of a single person less qualified for office as Brianna. The fact that someone with a following (no matter how much he's disliked -- he has a substantial amount of people who follow him) is willing to endorse her is absolutely infuriating on so many levels.

I've done work with politics, and even helped with small, local campaigns for small, local positions. I wouldn't run her at all, for any position ever. She has zero qualifications. She lies constantly about her field of work, her background, everything.

I say this all as someone fairly to the left. She represents everything that is wrong with the left.

I know we all know this. I got close to a-logging a few times was why I stopped posting on this thread, but she really, really needs to lose this primary already so this saga is over. She cannot win the primary with Twitter, and Twitter is all she knows. I have no idea if she's actually been campaigning outside or not, but if she still has not been outside, doing events, she will not get the results she wants.

Wu points at her "game" and all of the talks she has done as evidence. Nobody cares enough to actually look at the game because her audience is not really interested in games, just using them as a platform to spread an agenda.

The talks are kinda circular as past ones justify later ones.

One thing I've constantly noticed as a trend, is how "not racist" these people try and be, in that sort of 'thou doth protest too much' sort of way. And how that appear to jump to the first racist thing they can think of when they see say, a Black person buying a watermelon.

It's like they are secret super racists or something, like if they didn't stop that, someone would have made a joke about the watermelon and the black person, I mean... if thats immediately the first thing they thought, then everyone else must think that way too.... right?
