A Youtuber interviewed the infamous Pickle REEEEE guy. As it turns out, it was all a joke and he was playing a Filthy Frank-esque character, but the Rick and Morty fanbase is so terrible people thought he was for real.

I'd love to believe that, but as far as I'm concerned: He's lying about it all being a joke to save face. However, there ain't nothing wrong with that if that's true, especially if he ever wants to get hired for a real job that isn't sitting on his ass all day, bitching on YouTube about sweet nothings.

I'm sorry - but when you humiliate yourself like that, claiming it was just a joke just seems like a way to save face, more than anything.

Sounds more like the title of the page-long blog screed Dan Harmon will make after R&M isn't renewed. That he will claim is the first chapter of a memoir he'll never finish.
 
While the show is on hiatus, some fans are still trying their hardest to shoot themselves repeatedly in the foot. This time, both shippers and antis collaborated with VICE to put out an article that explores their wildly differing outlooks on the RickMorty ship. Multiple people thought this would be a good idea.

How has the April 1st Season 4 premiere not been posted yet? It got rave reviews by the real fans
Reminder: this actually aired on television(although the online version here is unedited, portions were bleeped on live broadcast).
/co/ loved it, and circulates a collage of angry tweets about it from presumed redditors.

Honestly everyone involved in this clusterfuck of autism has the resulting fallout coming - from the fans thinking it was a good idea to contribute to an article about this nonsense, to Vice thinking it was a good idea to green light the article to begin with.
