I want to address his thing about how celebrities being liable for products they endorse mean they should be liable for imagined invitations by public acts that he wanted to have an open conversation about. Come to KiwiFarms if you want to have that, Russ.
Products celebrities endorse are things that they directly suggest their fans buy. That gives rise to liability because there's an express suggestion. Non verbal communications that the fans imagine however are too vague and uncertain for there to be liability. When Taylor Swift hangs out with fans she doesn't directly state that she will hang out with anyone who messages her and there's no reason anybody should come away with that conclusion if they are operating on a sound mind. There's no liability, Russ and there never will be! Stupidity or mental illness on the part of the audience member does not give rise to liability!
