For a second, I thought this was going to be a memorial post for Frank after he succumbed to the flu. Instead it’s another “Rocket is the best dog I’ve ever owned by a large margin even though I said that about Crash. Also, I only get dogs from rescues, so here’s a link to the breeder I used.” post.

It’s an old photo, but “Rocket” looks different in every shot. Brianna probably just calls Kablaam, Splat, Shart, Blart, and Fart “Rocket” depending on which one is being affectionate that very second.

And yes. Two of those dogs were once classic white bichons.

It's a who's who list of talented indie devs who got fucked by the clique.

None of the clique's indy darlings are involved: no Phil Fish, no Tale of Tales, no Nina Freeman, no Robin Arnott, no Fullbright, no Davey Wreden, no Christopher Hugh, no Campo Santo, no Zoe Quinn, no Lucas Pope, no Anna Anthropy. In fact, none of the devs here were involved in the usual jizz-huffing horse-shit that was Indie Game: The Movie (the work that attempted to portray Phil Fish as a tortured Auteur Genius) and Gameloading: Rise of the Indies (which attempted to argue that the indie clique was nascent and rising to the top of vidya).

The free ride's over, kids, and meritocracy is at the top once again.

And by "rescued him" I mean that I supported the puppy mill by giving them money thereby allowing them to continue their activities because I wanted exactly this kind of oh-so-cute puppy and didn't give a shit where it came from.

It's obviously a response to John (or more likely Frank because John is too fucking lazy) reading the thread and realizing how bad the doggy dungeon of death looked and trying to cover for it with some bullshit virtue signaling, like everyone has already forgotten the torture chambers they keep their animals in.

This has to drive Brianna nuts. The guy is an actual minority who grew up poor and was sexually abused. He made his own games that people love. He's everything she wants to be in life.
