Nah, he did the right thing. There was nothing to be gained by having a fight about this with GDC and everything to lose. Not getting this award isn't gonna cost Bushnell any money or fame or anything else. The guy is the father of video games. He's doing just fine. The fact that he's not getting this bullshit award to put on his wall with all of his other awards probably isn't going to cause him to lose any sleep.
