It's like mental age regresses a few years with each passing generation. You'd see this sort of thing from 14-15 years old; 21s used to be in a different level.

I have yet to understand the appeal of ugly-looking characters, honestly. It's not that they're just drawn poorly (they all are), they are literally hideous. It's not even a "beauty and the beast" sort of thing where you can empathize with the ugly party, it's just... there and unnattractive in every single aspect. It doesn't seem to be to portray representation either (I didn't read anything so I might've missed something).

Also, I NEVER though I'd see Courage the Cowardly Dog yaoi fanart in my life, so, thanks for that. :(
