I don't think GK realizes that pistol whipping someone can kill them, and whips can cause scarring. Neither of those "only cause bruising at worst". It's frightening enough that someone like him is a sadist, but it's terrifying that he thinks certain forms of torture won't kill someone, or permanently scar them. The jellyfish thing is something I just can't wrap my mind around. I cannot reiterate enough that GK is a very scary individual. If this Lisa person is actually legit, which I do still doubt, she needs to run for the hills. Fast.

When they came up with the "Safe, Sane, Consensual" mantra, GK was the kind of person they had in mind.
 
Isn't pistol-whipping basically, "hitting someone with a gun"? How could that possibly NOT hurt? I watch and draw a lot of slapstick cartoons, but I know that if I attempted a third of what these zany fictional wacky pranksters got up to, it'd lead to something a little more that mild bruising.

Not to mention pistol whipping is often attributed to being hit in the head with said gun. Not always, but a lot of the time. That's a one way ticket to getting a concussion, or worse, killing the person.

I am convinced this is his logic. In general I think his lack of understanding or genuine interest in safe and controlled sadomasochism is because "but they're okay in the vidya gaems so why I have to research"

I'm seriously starting to think that he thinks pistol whips are a kind of gun that shoots out whips or something. I mean that's a dumb idea, but not nearly as dumb as thinking that hitting people with a metal gun only leaves a little bruise.

I'm sure he he has played enough vidja and watched enough action movies to know what pistol whipping is. He bases if the scenes where the bad guy has the good guy in the chair tied and integrates him, then he pistol whips the good guy and the good guy just spits blood and taunts him. Last time I checked whips don't just bruise you but lacerate you as well. I could see GK at a BDSM session and feinting at the sight of blood.

Honestly, with the type of "logic" he often spews, I wouldn't doubt if he thought pistol whip actually meant a gun that shoots whips.

To be fair, unless this idiot goes out and buys some kind of horsewhip, the kinds of whips they sell at adult toy stores are fairly harmless. Anything capable of real damage is going to be out of his price range (and he has to save his pennies for imaginary armor).
 
You would think as an NRA member he would know better than to pistol whip someone for basic gun safety reasons. I could also see him trying to spin the gun around his finger while he did it (Failing of course) trying to show how epic he is.

They never specifically said "don't bash people with the gun" during gun safety, so it's okay.
