I'm wondering what these angry reviewers are going to do when their fans get tired of their shtick or don't want to see some 40-something ranting about cartoons from the 80s. AVGN, Doug Walker, Brad Jones, Linkara... all of then do this shit for a living. What are they going to do when they have to go back to the real world and get real jobs? They'll have several years where they weren't gainfully employed, and That's going to hurt their chances at finding a decent job. It's going to be sad seeing former internet "celebrities" flipping burgers and mucking out toilets because they made their hobby their job and had no forethought to have a plan for employment when it all ends.

The best thing one of they could do is probably find a job related to video such as editing if they did it themselves but then again, that might be more than what I'm thinking. It's as you say, what can they do when they go back to reality and get an actual job? Doug Walker was an illustrator before he decided to make the Nostalgia Critic his job so unless he kept his skills as an illustrator, he could have a hard time finding an actual job.

Not only that but Doug quit his job in about the douche-iest way imaginable and posted the video for the whole world to see. I can see him in the interview now:

Doug: Well I worked as an illustrator until my web series took off, so I quit to pursue that. Now that my online media empire lay in a figurative smoking heap I need to find work again.
Interviewer: Wait...aren't you that Nostalgia Critic guy?
Doug: Why, yes. Yes I am. Or I was.
Interviewer: And didn't you make a video of yourself quitting your old job?
Doug (laughing): Yeah. That was pretty epic.
Interviewer: Right...I'm sorry, the position has been filled by someone who isn't an insufferable dick bag.
Doug: ...I see.

Does anyone know about Gligar13vids?
Yep. I covered it here: http://cwckiforums.com/posts/264711/

Found this funny tweet from his Twitter though:

;_;

However, in my opinion, Gligar's A-Logs are as funny and weird as Gligar, whom I might make a post about it soon.

Hmmm, maybe we should all join forces and see if we can create the ultimate shit critic with our combined autism........
If we all join forces, what would this ultimate critic have? No doubt we should give it the same knowledge Irate Gamer has, the skills of DSP (not a critic I know but it could use the gaming skills of DSP), the same humor level as the game dude, the same rage, skits, and words of both the AVGN and Nostalgia Critic.

I'm guessing that if they are smart they are saving up for the future and thinking on changing or expanding their productions to become mainstream.
Anyone else watch Tacoman?
Now that I have,(thanks to you) I will not do it again, this guy does not know what to do, he gave almost no information on the game he didn't show us anything we could not see for ourselves and his comedy was unfunny.

Hey maybe that could be my new gig, The Critics Critic. (original idea do not steal!)

So...Doug Walker doing video games?

I kid.

Nostalgia Critic doing a shitty LP. In my opinion, he's not so bad at doing reviews at video games such as Bebe Kids and Blues Brothers for the SNES, but this LP makes DSP look like a proper Let's Player considering that DSP doesn't complain every five fucking seconds.

Someone tries his hand at being an angry gamer. In fact, his whole website consists of terribly written "inductions".

GSG Induction - Nickelodeon GUTS (SNES):

The only youtube personality I like is crit1kal.
He doesn't review games...nor is he angry. But someone mentioned him here earlier and I want to put it out there that I like him too. He gives all proceeds he makes to charity. I just think he's funny to listen to, mostly it's his monotone voice that makes him playing games funny for me.

I remember I used to watch Nostalgia Critic, and I thought he was ok and a good time waster. Then I got a little older and realized how...sort of cringe worth his videos are. Especially how he likes to scream and rip out a gun. A really common thing these angry reviewers do is have some big dramatic plot about how the game/movie/whatever is so bad it's destroying the fabric or the universe, and must be destroyed. That got old the instant TGWTG did it. I think you know what I mean.

That is legitimately all of his shitty reviews now. He has no sense of irony. He complains about unnecessary bullshit and then injects his 'reviews' with nonsensical skits starring people nobody cares about and...Why does a review even need a storyline? It's a review! Just talk about it, show footage, make your points. TGWTG community is just plain autistic.
