I wonder if Wu will ever come to the self realization that #metoo has effectively ended women in tech, the same way the ADA effectively ended “we hire the handicapped”? Employers will quietly move to minimize risk, and women in heavily male dominated workspaces are quickly becoming huge risk. There are nowhere near enough qualified women to meet demand, while there are more than enough qualified men. The diversity hires will quickly dry up and applicants will be subjected to the same scrutiny, to once again minimize risk. This is actual cause and effect at work. The rule of unintended consequences, which seems to be Wu’s guiding star.
