I just feel like they're trying WAY too hard. There's just no way GK is going to keep falling for this long enough for anything funny to come out of it.

Well, sometimes but he would stop begrudgingly when I told him I wasn't in the mood. I guess since we were together in person, he didn't feel the urge to know what I was doing 24/7.

Were you working at the time? Because I've visited people out of state and them having to do other things, while understandable, is mad awkward. If you were working was he just hanging around your house putzing around?

How much do you think GK really believes that he's going to be a world-famous comic book artist and supersoldier?

Did it seem to you that GK always wanted approval from his father, mother or brother, or reassurance that they liked him? Did he want your approval?

No, I didn't have a job at the time. At that time it was pretty much the tame infatuation stage where we just wanted to cuddle. *shudders* God the memories make me sick now.

Yeah, I'm convinced that he truly believes it.

I'm also convinced he wanted their approval but didn't care if he got it regardless.

I appreciate it was a while ago and you probably weren't looking out for it, but how did he get on with his father? Did his parents treat GK different to his brother?

Exactly. If it was one of his drawings he unearthed from his childhood then it would be fine. Little kids do this self-insert power tripping stuff because they still think they're the most important person in the world besides their mother. Pity GK never grew out of that stage.
 
Probably some ween lurker who doesn't have an account. Or has an account they've never used. I really doubt this will make a difference. As long as someone claims to have red hair and china GK will be interested no matter what.
