I suspect it happened in the most technical sense. When he disowned his parents in Mississippi, he drove across the country to live with an aunt in Denver. There was probably a night or two en route when he was technically "homeless" and slept in his car.

Nah. It's very practical! It's not like it's December, in a temperate climate. I'm really interested in seeing what John does with his $40k, used, rear wheel drive, manual transmission roadster in the Boston winter. There is very little chance John even knows what an all-weather tire is or why someone would might want or need them. I guess the TT is his daily driver?

Do they even have a garage for this thing?

All Lynch would really have to say is "this man gets his groceries delivered to him because despite having no job, he would rather squander ridiculous amounts of money than even go shop for his own food." The Porsche would just be gravy.

No, the shit heap house they live in has a drive thru style driveway in front of the house and what looks like a black topped parking spot off to one side. @JSGOTI has some photos of the Wu-clan lair, and it is easily the shittiest house on the block. So shitty in fact that it's actually driving the value of neighboring properties down.
