The fact that Flynt/Wu admits driving at least part of the way from Virginia to Boston with the check-oil indicator blinking like crazy might have more to do with the car's issues than where he bought it. I wonder if Frank his aware that his tyranny plaything did this. Then again, Frank is also probably utterly ignorant of all things automotive.
Frank might be ignorant of cars, but at least he displayed some common sense when he bought his. He didn't need a substitute penis. just a car to get him to work and back. He got it new 'cos he has the money to do that, probably from a local dealer, and he probably has it serviced every year at a local place near home. I've never heard Wu say that Frank ever has trouble with his car, because he probably never does. It's fine for his needs.
I'm convinced there's more to Wu's car ownership stories than she lets on on twitter. She said the old car she had was wrecked by a falling branch, yet there's no sign of damage in the photos we have. She said she got an insurance settlement, but if that were true the insurance co. would have taken ownership of the car and scrapped it. I think the car was perfectly serviceable albeit ancient, but Wu used patreon cash to buy that shitbox Audi and made up an excuse why she needed it. When the Audi turned out to be a lemon, I bet she whined night and day at Frank to buy her dream car she'd been coveting "since she was a wee girl" (i.e. since last Thursday when she decided she was obsessed with cars for some reason.)
