I don't think it's much of an issue about sex-ed as it is just an issue about people who obsess about sex and porn all their lives are extremely delusional and fucked up.

No, this is definitely a problem to do with Sex-Ed. Sex-Ed classes (at least as of now) are basically 10% about anatomy and how sex actually works (the other 90% is about birth control and pregnancy but this is irrelevant). The point of my saying that is that focusing only 10% of your course on how sex actually works and the other 90% on how to can prevent pregnancy is not only counter-productive, it is just pointless.

All these guys that sperg about the technical scientific difference in definition between pedophilia (attracted to pre-puberty), hebephilia (attracted to pubescent), and ephebophilia (attracted to adolescent) are kidding themselves. The reason biology or psychology makes these distinctions is because we have to scientifically categorize phenomena in humans the same way we do with all animals. But theres a difference between scientific definitions and cultural definitions.
Culturally, we observe attraction to minors in general as pedophilia. And even if we make a distinction between these different terms in our cultural observations, it doesn't make you any less deviant and sociopathic to be a "hebephile." I mean, there are degrees of horrifying, and yeah someone preying on a fucking baby is more extreme than a 13 year old, but the point is both are 100% unacceptable, and extremely damaging to the minor involved.
Its like a murderer yelling "but but... at least I didn't cut up the body and save the head in my freezer!" Like yeah Not all murderers are Dahmer, but its still murder.
