Anyone ever played this before?

In case you're unaware of what it is, it's a 2005 movie making simulation game where you take on the role of a hollywood film mogul and start your own studio. The game looks like Sims but instead of managing your own life, you manage your own career.

Feel free to share your opinions on it and yeah..uh idk!

It was actually on Steam but was taken down because the main menu had a link to the game's website. And the domain redirected to a porn website. And the publisher wasn't able to fix it so they stopped selling it.

Damn, that actually really sucks. Especially since they shut down their community website (where people share their own movies).

I never actually played it, but as a kid I used to obsessively read gaming magazines and I remember Nintendo Power talking about this game and I thought it sounded cool. The Gamecube version got cancelled later though sadly.

It is a fun game. Having to drag the depressed alcoholic starlett from the bar to the set manually so the damn milliondollarmovie is finished in time for the awards - thats some fine realism.

I had an alcoholic food addicted director for nearly 40 years that kept producing the greatest movies ever made in the 5 minutes a day he actually spent sober.

Unfortunately this meant in between his 10 masterpeices were like 30 movies with barely 2 stars that lost me hundreds of thousands of dollars each.

Did any of you ever create your own movie, script an all? I tried a few times but never finished one. Lack of patience and creativity.

I remember fooling around with this during high school, and being pleasantly surprised at how unrestricted it is. Overall a pretty good game despite coming straight after Fable when Molyneux started to ridiculously overhype his games without delivering on any of his mind blowing promises.
