I found a post where he admits to making a fake girlfriend.
I find it ironic that he claims he can't get a job and yet his parents own a shop where they could give him one, or at least provide him some working experience. He also lists on his Facebook page that he works there, but as the occupation he put down "nothing". Literally.
I also found some "Cool World" artwork where Holli Would has black hair instead of blonde.
And this is why I drink.

If he loses more friends, could it mean his fits get even more severe? If his friend list went from whatever it was to just zero, he might pull off the mother of all fits that he has done.

I'm with Obamatron. I don't even think that this guy falls into the "high-functioning" category. Given the speech patterns and behaviors that we can actually see, I think it's something deeper. Like, this isn't CWC or Iconoclast or Golden Knight or Pixy levels of just being an asshole and partially knowing the difference but refusing to do anything about it - he just seems innocent, and his comics are miles beyond any of the stuff any of the aforementioned 'cows produce in pacing and style alone.

That's how it always starts until you start looking deeper and uncover the true secrets and the horrible that lies below the surface. But yeah I see your point it is more sad, less this guy is an asshole but we'll see how it plays out.

To be honest with you, I see this kid as a more honest version of Chris. Anybody remember Chloe? She was a girlfriend that Chris totally made up in 2008.

If you don't believe me, I made her and I created her as a puppet/dummy like on Sesame Street without strings. I wish I wanted real girlfriends but I'm not ready for a date." - Scotty
"I currently have no recollection of a Chloe." - Chris in 2009, a year after making Chloe up. Chris isn't just a liar, he's a very poor one, unable to even remember whatever whoppers he makes up, because he does so out of convenience, and not true deliberation.
In addition, I don't feel that Scotty's as egotistical. Now, to be sure, he's definitely egotistical- but he's straightforward. His constant whining about not having a girlfriends or a relationship is brutally honest. He's scared and incapable of moving to LA to become a VO artist, and he makes that plain. He states his problem, and states why he has the problem, and often seems to feel that the situation is hopless. This is in stark contrast with Chris, who automatically assumes he's due girlfriends and worship, and so will repeatedly go out with an attraction sign or make facebook posts about how lonely he is, apparently expecting that this time, with this post, with this sign, someone will come along and make things better for him.
Scotty may be initially dishonest (from what little I've seen from him, to tell the truth), but he eventually realizes that his ruses, as well as his expectations, don't hold any logic, and he eventually relents, explaining himself in full. Chris? Not so much.

If he keeps up at this, he could be a good lolcow but at the moment I really don't see it. His drawings have a odd charm to them and if he lost the attitude he could get hired by a local paper very easily, heck even do illustrations for a small time children's book author. He's kinda right about Grey Delisle (she did say some awful things on twitter a few years back) but Funimation actors are really bottom of the barrel (I had to hear some of their "talents" at a con and my ears, my poor poor ears)
Also the voice actors he lists as "bad" have done a fair bit of voice work on anime and Japanese games.

I like how he uses autism as an excuse for his shortcomings but admits that he's just using it as an excuse in the very same sentence. He's one step ahead of Chris when it comes to honesty.

I think it's safe to say that aside from Moleman, A-Log and MylarBalloonFan, no one can be the next Chris. Oh sure some may come close, but it's still a near impossible a feat to do so.

Scotty is fun. His USI comes and goes, but his comics are pretty entertaining, and unlike @The_Iconoclast, Scotty knows how to structure a page.
Pages 4, 5 & 6 of "Smoke Dog" made me laugh uncontrollably, but maybe not how Scotty intended.
