Ah, Black Israelites. A bunch of racist asshats who fail history and anthropology forever. They're essentially the black equivalent of Christian Identity (a white supremacist movement claiming that Europeans are descended from the ancient Israelite tribes, again despite all evidence to the contrary)
Now, there are Hebrews of African descent, most notably in Ethiopia and other parts of East Africa, that is true. But most African-Americans' ancestry can be traced to West Africa, which is on the other end of the fucking continent and have no major Hebrew or Jewish populations to speak of. And considering most Black Israelites are American.....

Claiming to be a descendant of the lost tribes of Israel is one of the oldest ways of being a special snowflake in history. From the late 19th century on there were British Israelites, who thought that the Brits were descended from the lost tribes of Israel. Apparently some of those groups eventually morphed into part of the Christian Identity movement in the US, so the belief still exists.

I've seen these guys on public access one late night, yelling at black and white women who took the bait and started yelling back at them. Then a group of wandering black kids pass by them and started baiting the black isrealites as the dudes couldn't do nothing but scream how they wish the kids were theirs so they can beat them. Regardless of their skin color, conspiracy theorists who start believing in more than one or two conspiracies (9/11 was an inside job, School Shooting False Flags, "the Holohoax", etc.) inevitably start believing in more and more theories until they hit a critical mass where their edifice of delusions can support ANYTHING they want to believe. With black people, these people often turn into these ankh niggas who think blacks all have superpowers and have existed from the beginning of time, while whites tend to become biblical grammaticists or end up taking magic mushrooms to talk to spacemen.
While I don't disagree with reaching the critical mass of stupid but you just don't see these dumb ass ideas among mainstream people any where other than the black community.
It's even more absurd when you consider that the entire "woke" belief system was dreamed up by a huckster named Dwight York and his cult the Nuwabians.
Until he got 137 years in prison for molesting the groups kids.
