When he says, " I hope you like my comment", would I be wrong to assume he means he hopes you click like - not actually enjoy the comment? Cause that's just...stupid. Really stupid.

Well....you aren't allowed to not like his posts. It makes him very angry.

That's awesome. I want to befriend him on Facebook with the sole intent of never liking anything on his page.
Oh he'll friend ANYONE. He wants more friends because he thinks it will make him famous, even going as far to say that he prefers friends over family. He tried friending me a couple of times and got mad when I wouldn't accept (yet before he sent the request he called me a cunt for trying to give him advise).

I also think his art has an odd charm to it. They're not masterpieces or anything but they're legible and look kind of cute.

He even went as far as to say that [they] should move their studio to Kentucky so that he can go work for them.

Can you imagine the reactions of the staff if the ones in charge announced they were relocating the entire studio to Kentucky? I may not have majored in business, but wanting an entire company to move their base of operations to the middle of nowhere rather than you moving to them isn't exactly fair or economically viable.

(No offense to anyone in Kentucky, but there's probably just not that much there where this guy lives compared to where the studios are.)

And in his favor, at least the colors aren't awful either.

I've read a ton of indie comics and even set up at an indie comic convention a few years back. This guy is better than 90% of what those art dorks put out. With the right angle, this guy could be an "outsider" Jeffrey Brown or James Kochalka.

But the problem with this guy is that he doesn't want to pursue his art. He expects people to come to him and uses his autism/parents as reasons for not moving from Kentucky (and the guy is almost 21). In other words, he is like a mini Chris.

Speaking of which, doesn't this look familiar?

Lets completely blame our bad behavior on autism.

Kentucky boy here, lived here for the last 13 years of my life, and I can confidently say there's nothing here for a studio. Unless you want your talent pool to be the best of the best of farmers and horse riders, you'd be wasting valuable resources and time. I imagine this guy'd want the entire studio to be in Ashland (read: bumfuck nowhere), that wouldn't happen if they wanted to actually stay in business. If I was one of the staff in, say, California, and I was told the entire studio was moving to Kentucky, I'd quit.

About his art, admittedly he has a neat style going. It's flat but characters have fun proportions that keep them interesting. It's like a cross between Regular Show, Adventure Time, and I actually get some Gorillaz vibes from it too. It's like a more teen-oriented variation of Diary of a Wimpy Kid's simplistic doodles.

Having 2000 friends won't make you famous like Robert Crumb. If anything, it wouldn't bring much fame. As having people defriend you, a friend of mine from college, a brony who has Aspergers, had a lot of friends on Facebook until there was a defriending. As much as it bummed him out, he did that without throwing a big fit. All it did was make him sad but it also helped him knowing who his real friends are (As far as Facebook goes). Also, throwing a big fit because you get defriended, that is just immature. Not only is it immature, it could also lead to more defriending's and blocks.
