I'm pretty sure a great deal of them are actually gay (or bisexual and refusing to sleep with AWFUL MEN), but I'm totally not discounting straight girls being in the mix because lesbians are in now, apparently.

It's a weird cycle, since forever I've known of straight girls pretending to be lesbian either because they had issues with men, or just to rebel about those dang parents who wont understand us! :O

Man at least when people were pretending to be bisexual on MySpace ten years back, they wouldn't end up dating somebody that they weren't attracted to. It was normally like "yeah I'm like, totally bi, I kissed a girl once."

It's because nobody takes personal responsibility for their flaws or mistakes anymore. It's never their fault they're single, or overweight, or have anger issues, or don't make a lot of money, etc. They're never in the wrong, so clearly it's everyone else who's at fault.

Nobody ever tries to improve themselves anymore. Instead they'd rather just attempt to bring everyone else to their level.

I'd say if they're "political lesbians" there's a good chance that they're just straight, with a minority of bi, girls that want to hate on men because... reasons.

Now not saying there aren't more than a few dykes there, but considering this shit seems to of grown out of the yaoi craze from last decade I'd say that there probably isn't as many as there seems to be.
