I know this stuff is like a quarter decade old, but I didn't see it anywhere when I skimmed the thread and I feel it was apt as a part of Chibi history. A few screenshots from when he genuinely contemplated taking up a loan to voice act in a kickstarter game, only to (thankfully) be convinced out of it by people less impulsive than him.

Tbh she may be a goofy af dancer, but at least when she cant stream games she does stuff. Might be crazy but you cant really claim its not entertaining.

I really wish he had. The game doesn't seem to have lines but rather they just record a few sounds then change the pitch.


Imagine him explaining to his mother that he spent thousands just for something like that.

I'm to understand he actually did take out the loan he just didn't announce it. He is always complaining in discord about how far into debt he is because he makes bad life decisions. I believe (and don't quote me on this) but he was unable to produce anything of quality so his money was returned to him but he gained interest on it.

I wonder if he's just a terrible boyfriend or if she's oblivious to how obsessive she comes across. Or maybe both. I know if I got a job, my significant other would be the first to know, way before I told the entire Internet about it.

Really they make a perfect couple, I can't say I'm not happy for them.

After reading the rest of the posts in this thread I'm convinced she's become possessed by the tulpa of some yandere writer's fantasy character. She's closer to a cartoon character in personality than a human being, down to awkwardly trying to make human movements with her human body. She does not even look comfortable when she's on stream with Chibi, and she still claims to long for him this badly. They definitely suit one another.

He really should look back at this and sigh in relief. Just imagine gathering all that money from fans and people who want to help you, only to burn it all to record a couple of grunts for a game that turned out to be a massive disappointment for everyone involved. As dumb as Chibi seems to be, I still think that kind of thing would hurt.

I'd like to reiterate what he was saying in this. "I could use these guys as professional references." He was looking at this like his leg in the door, an opportunity to befriend his heroes. The disappointment of the game being mediocre would be the cherry on top of not receiving the level of interaction or validation from Playtonic that he dreamt of.
