Doing anything illegal on 4chan is about as retarded as you can get. I'd be more concerned about wasting money on the pass and then getting banned for shitposting.
 
I only know of Voat because of Neofag.

I'm pretty sure Neogaf's owner called in a favor to get it banned from Reddit.
 
I only go to Voat for NeoFAG, which hits retarded levels of racism sometimes. Everyone who reads NeoFAG _hates_ that eye destroying CSS the owners of the board put up. People have been complaining about it for at least a year and they still refuse to change it. Also the owners seem totally fine with posting random american politics stuff, even pre-emptively of NeoGAF even saying anything.

Other than that there's one guy who keeps infiltrating the Discords associated with the "Black Community Thread" on NeoGAF, it seems unprompted and pretty bizarre. They're the softest niggas in existence and I'm 100% certain that other black people in their lives actively make fun of them for being "so white" and shit. The only lulzworthy thing about them is that they're a "protected class" on NeoGAF.

Sorry to make this about NeoFAG/NeoGAF but that's basically the only real shit on Voat that people visit.
 
I cut /pol/ a lot more slack when it became obvious there actually were paid shills disrupting it. Not that I wouldn't have done that, but I certainly wouldn't do it for free.

A guy on youtube made an interesting video on why that is. Any site that's made up of people who specifically hate another site is basically doomed to fail at anything other than talking about why that other site is so bad.

In this one, a number of people get up in arms and start a piss-taking contest about who's the healthiest and who starves themselves the most. It's not a far fetch to say that there are users who argue about who had one too many Tic Tacs.

Now, here's the piece de resistance... All these people who spend their lives obsessing, being hateful and jumping on everything that they see... they themselves have crippling disabilities like severe Asperger's, debilitating physical abnormalities and A-Z in the book of psychoses. They're essentially lolcow material when they're not behind their computer screens, the people still clinging to that husk of a sub.

Yeah, I don't know why I stuck around there as long as I did. Reddit may not be run perfectly, but they at least have A) a userbase that recognizes that hurling racial slurs just comes off as immature, B) communities that allow you to filter out drama and politics and focus on what you care about, and C) places where you can chill and have fun discussions.
 
I only went to FPH for a short time, but I remember seeing a lot of post that had people who had lost/are losing a lot of weight (often with before or after photos) and all the comments were still "kill urself cause you used to be fat"

A community that based in toxicity can't be good for a person

TLDR: "I may be diagnosed with autism, PTSD, PCOS , bpd, bipolar disorder, body dysmorphia, anxiety, depression and suffered a debilitating spinal injury but at least I'm not fat lol "
