I think that's a bit uncharitable. He might genuinely just hate this shit. He sounds like somebody who is basically going to cut her loose but wants to look like it was a fair and measured decision. That's my read.

I had perplexity.ai summarise everything for me reasonably accurately. I have a friend who used to ask me easily googleable questions back in the 2010s. Eventually, I kept on sending him "Let me google that" links until he got the message. I think many of his viewers would benefit from their family members doing similar.
