Correct me if im wrong but as far as I know, homosexual behavior in animals is only ever documented in unnatural captive environments like zoos. In the wild, animals are never homosexual.

The human zoo by Desmond Morris explains that unnatural behavior seen in humans is because we live in an unnatural environment- so homosexuality, theft from neighbors, masturbation etc. occur because we are captive animals.

Morris is a great anthropologist whose work explains human behavior better than I could, I only came here to say Ellen Page makes a really ugly man and is probably the worst (best) poster girl boy girl boy for the trans cult possible.

Also, no shit men in general are more likely to be sexual deviants than women.
But men in general have higher sex drives than women.

Unless women have the same amount of sex drive as men and their sexual deviancy can be measured in proportion to see who actually has more sexual deviancy.

As a movie autist, I think that going full retard with the Odyssey is the only thing that might save it. Visually, it looks unappealing. The cast all looks like they know what iPhones are. The story has been done many, many times before, and much better in nearly every setting (Nostos: The Return being my personal favorite). What has not really been tried is retardmaxxing, Just go for broke in modernizing it, Darth Vader Agamemnon, fuck it. Fuckboy twink Telemachus, fuck it. Tranny Achilles, fuck it. Visible facelift Kirke(?), fuck it. Just go for broke being retarded, it's at least going to end up more entertaining than boring DUNC-wannabe historyslop that nobody ends up liking.

They've actually could've just re-imagined it in a modern setting. Kinda like how the 90s movie 10 Things I Hate About You is just Taming of the Shrew but in 90s California.

It still easily could be slop, but at least it could give itself some wiggle room of "this isn't a 1:1 telling and it's not supposed to be."
