Kiwis you ever get bored of AR15s and try other 556 stuff? I remember when I thought i was getting bored of guns in general but I got to try other guns and the love came back. Thinking about min maxing the akb23 or sending the hk33 clone off to get some love ( paddle mag release, barrel swap, rail weld on.)

They're worth it as investment guns too if you eventually get tired of it. MKE stuff comes in batches and last time there was a dry spell i'd see the MKE HK53 clones sell for well over 3k and of course people building them from scratch from C93 parts kits. The barrel length makes em kinda useless but as a fun gun they're the bitches tits.

hello, what would you pay for a BRT CAR 15SD with an HTA SD (full size)
+ PSA pistol lower with a few endomags (I would want the colt style lower CMMG makes so that part doesn't do much to me)
My friend wants to sell due to baby on the way and I want to give him a fair price, he's thinking around 1800-2000. at 1800 I think I'm in, but also if you guys think it's worth a lot more, than I don't really want to fuck him over. I also know a gunstore would probably offer no more than like 800$ or something criminal like that.
this is the closest I could find but only includes the BRT barrel and nothing else is the same (it's not even radial delay!

Something like a honey badger or a daniel defense ISR might be in that range? Ian has done a couple of honey badger videos. HTA mp5sd conversions are also pretty expensive.

My buddy has a normal TX22 and it does fine. It gets some jams here and there since it's not meant for full auto, but usually you can get through a full extended mag no issues. It's a TON of fun.
